I can't believe that this Jeter argument is still going on days later. How about a separate thread for that? Anything else posted in here lately gets pretty much lost.

3 Baseball Fantasy teams, 3 Second place finishes, all 3 opponents had Jordan Zimmerman. What are the odds? smh

The Twins are officially on the lookout for their 3rd manager in my lifetime.

          Gardy is out.

I'm not holding my breath on anything changing in the organization with the firing of Gardenhire and the rest of the coaching staff. The new hires will not be inspiring.

I think this is the first manager they have fired since 1986…really didn't think they'd do it.

And Gardenhire was in the organization since about then. I want to believe that they're going to try and bring in someone with new ideas, but that's just not the way this organization works. It'll probably be some inside guy.

And the Dodgers are glad he isn't with the way he pitched this year. What a clown.

A question for the Twins fans: Do you think that management will try to get Molitor interested in the managerial job? I like Molitor a LOT. I believe he did a pretty good job as their hitting coach a few years ago and he was on the staff this season overseeing the fundamental stuff and handling in-game strategy.

I think Molly is the early favorite.

I think it will at least pump a little new energy into the franchise. I will be paying attention to the team going into next year just to see how things look. I mean, I didn't even bother to watch a single Twins game this year because before the season started I already knew how it was going to go.

Classy press conference from Gardy. He's a quality guy, it's a shame that it had to end this way.

Yeah, we like guys where you can make a good-sounding nickname out of shortening their name and adding a 'y'. So he's a definite favorite.

I love the "-zie's". When someone's name doesn't work with a y, so they just add zie to the end of their name (see: Morneauzie)
