    Really good doc so far.
MLB Network is the best channel.
Great news and analysis and then they add so much original content.
    Baseball Seasons is great too.

I got to agree with Speedy, that doc was VERY good. It's amazing that Billy Martin squeezed out 61 years on this earth with that volatile personality fueled by alcohol. The doc did a great job of impressing upon the idea that Martin should be a HOFer on some level. The guy was a baseball genius. It's too bad his prickly personality and liquor fueled lifestyle ultimately killed him. It really seemed like Oakland was the perfect place to be in too but y'know his relationship with George Steinbrenner was one of the most heated and strangest ones in all of baseball history.

BTW I LOVED La Russa's anecdote about Billy's favorite pick off/stealing home plays. Billy's lawyer/agent was also a lifesaver for Billy too many times to count. He was very pleasant to watch/listen to. Ron Guidry was great too! I could sit and listen to that guy for hours.

This was probably the best doc MLB Network has done in a very long time, perhaps of all time on that network as far as i'm concerned.

EDIT: Not to make fun of the guy but that Morabito guy has the strangest hair on the face of the planet.

I think the Hall should ideally be super, super strict but since been a long time since it was established and it's not so strict, yeah sure why not.

Then there's a competing voice in my brain that says that even guys who are "famous" who aren't necessarily HOF-worthy career or statistic wise (say, Edgar Renteria) should be in the Hall of Fame given what they've done in such massive moments, directly contributing to World Series wins and such.

Those moments are already commemorated in the museum though. You don't really need to induct the people, they're represented.

Agreed about everything, including Billy's agent's hair. 😂

The anecdote about Mantle, Billy and the mule Is never heard before...laughed quite much.

That's actually not a bad alternate. Make it a pullover though because that screams softball league to me.

Nothing about that looks like a righty pitcher to me.

I'm trying to picture it by the angle, and nothing really fits well. From the chin to the arms to the way the face would face or anything of that nature.

Yup...I see nothing but a LHP.

Look at it as if the front leg is the left leg and you're looking at the pitcher's back. That makes it seem like a RHP.

I did, and I can. I know what you're talking about regarding the illusion.

I'm saying that the object doesn't look like that of something you could snap from a RHP at that angle. Everything would look a bit skewed. The pitcher would look like it's going to throw right into the third base dugout to me.

What I mean is when this illusion was "made," it is my belief it was made from a left-handed pitcher, no matter whether you cut a silhouette out of it or not.
