All it's missing is Bozo the clown in a Dbacks uniform to drive it.

I still don't get this lol. When Enter Sandman hit, Mo could've headed to the mound in a wheelchair and the stadium was still going to be rocking. I'm trying to imagine a situation where 50000 people would normally be screaming but now are not because the pitcher isn't jogging and I can't see it at all.

Teams can do whatever they want and I hope it’s optional for the pitcher.

That said, let’s be clear, this is NOT a time saver. This is just for fan fare and advertisements (and that’s okay).

I personally however am not a fan.

I really don't care if they use a bullpen cart or if the player walks from the bullpen. I've been around for both.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

They should just have relievers come out like this:

I agree the stadium would still be rocking once enter Sandman hit the PA system. Though, the moment loses some luster visually with Mo entering the stadium on one of those silly carts. At least in my eyes it would.

Bullpen door swings open and out comes Mo on the golf cart to close the 9th! Nah, I’m good. lol

I mean, they could do all sorts of fun gimmicky stuff that would be entertaining. Hardcore fans would react with their usual permascowl tho lol. Now if you filled 3/4 of the screen with advanced statistics at all times, that's ok.

The conversation was dropped yesterday as it should have been. Not sure why you brought it back up but there is no need to bring up any sort of wrestling vs. baseball conversation in this thread so let this be the end of it.

Conversation didn’t appear contentious, nor did I think I was veering this thread wildly off track. My apologies, and noted moving forward.

Surprising given ESPN, but this profile of Ichiro is really intense and definitely worth reading even if it's long:

How five days in February reveal what Seattle's signing of Ichiro cannot. The future Hall of Famer is haunted by the life he can't escape.
