So they just signed a deal for Facebook to stream a national game once a week for 25 weeks...

I don't have, use, or intend to use Facebook so I guess I'll just go on the hope that my team doesn't get picked... No one wants to watch the Yankees right? ****.

I have to imagine it would be like what Twitter did with the NFL and be a game in addition to the traditional viewing methods.

As a Pirates fan, I'm pretty sure that we won't get spotlighted too much so this is great as I want nothing to do with that site. [joke] Maybe the ownership really hates bookface so that's why we traded our stars? Now this is a return that I can accept! [/joke]

I really hope so. I read that they had 20 games last year which I guess was unobtrusive enough that I didn't notice, but those were nonexclusive.

I like that they realize how dumb the runner thing is. "We can't explain how this would be calculated into ERA, so we'll say the runner got there because of a fielding error... But not charge a fielding error."
