Considering the length of the contract and how god awful it's going to look in a while, and the Bonilla potential of the contract (I'm pretty sure he has equity in the friggin team from that contract), it's pretty bad imho. Fielder's is really bad too. Probably the worst of the 3.

I would think Edwin Jackson's deal is pretty bad. B.J. Upton, Ryan Howard etc.....

E-Jax's contract must be almost up, and with the Jason Vargas' of the world getting paid like $12m it's really not horrific. Howard was probably one of the overall stupidest of all time. Upton's hurts too.

Asked a baseball executive if Hamilton’s discipline was for PEDs. His response: “Worse.” The executive declined to elaborate.

I meant more in terms of years.

Did Hamilton go Hernandez on someone?

The only thing I can think of way he got caught selling drugs. Something like possession with intent to sell.

Seriously what could be worse? Maybe he relapsed and hit the coke again.

That's what I speculated on but in terms of the "integrity of the game" that's not worse but from a personal standpoint it probably is.

                    I guess we'll soon know.

Judging by the history in the way they have handled punishment in the past, the only thing I could think of that would be worse than PEDs was that he was betting on games or something to that extent.

I applaud the guy. He didn't fail a drug test. He actually turned himself into MLB. He relapsed a few months ago.

                          He's looking at a 25 game suspension.

Ah well, I change my tone on my previous post then. It's nice to see that he actually came to TPTB and told them what happened. He didn't try to cheat the system or lie.

That is something I can respect.

I really don't like that guy. I can only hope for a lifetime ban.
