Maybe not, but I can't be mad at him for trying. Something needs to be done about this facet of the game.

Can't Manfred keep his mouth shut about anything? He has to answer all questions? And what about the simply historical nature of changing the number of games. It should be 162...'till the end of times as far as I'm concern.

You sound like a guy that complained about the schedule going from 154 to 162

I appreciate the enthusiasm from that guy wanting to go all FDA on baseball, but these are grown men. It isn't like they are stepping out of the box to do a Skoal ad.

                      A-Rod's contract?

A-Rod could be, especially if Yankees lose that lawsuit about the HR bonuses. Because at least Josh can produce more than A-Rod.

My thoughts were that I thought at first, too. But A-Rod is 22, 21, 21. Whereas Josh is 25.4, 32.4, 32.4

Fielder and Pujols' contracts are worse than Hamilton's imho.

Pujols is still a damn good player. He's no longer at his "all-time great" level of play but I'll take his performance all day every day.

Hamilton is worthless in every way.
