      So there is this...

White Sox players considered boycott to support Adam LaRoche

      And then there's this...

As @jeffpassan said, Sale was vocal in meeting between #WhiteSox players and Williams on LaRoche. 1/2

Sale told Williams, unequivocally, to get out of the clubhouse and stay out, per a source. Williams acknowledges meeting was passionate. 2/2

"The lesson being taught to this kid is that if you don't get everything you want your way, quit. Great parenting."

Saw that quote and agree. This is an 8th grade kid that has also missed 3 weeks of school just to "hang out" at daddy's work. That is absolutely ridiculous.

Lol, if they had actually boycotted that would have been amazingly stupid. Talk about not having your priorities straight. And Sale is a moron.

Reading what the VP had to say, this whole thing has become ridiculous.

He never said, don't bring the kid. He said bring him occasionally. Sometimes. Not all the time.

And Laroche turned it into a spectacle. I think he's half right, he should be able to bring his kid. But he's wrong in thinking he should be able to do it every game and then want to retire because he didn't like their ruling on it.

LaRoche is why we can't have nice things. One guy stretches the freedom of being a ballplayer and having your kids in the dugout to every game.

Yea I just saw the clip from the Chicago media, it's obvious we've publically heard from the minority of players, not the majority.

Everyone probably brings their kid to work at least once....and if it's a great environment(eg....a baseball stadium!!!)....much more.
But to pout and quit because he was told to cool it a little.
                            Pretty pissy.

and yeah....like kehlis said....he had his own locker?
Pretty cool and something the kid will never forget.
I'd say the CWS front office treated them pretty well.
                            If I was LaRoche's son...I'd be like...
..."I can never go again because you retired?...you're such a DICK!"

Earlier I said I don't have a problem with either side taking the stance they did but I think my opinion will change vastly if it were to somehow split the clubhouse into pro LaRoche/con LaRoche camps.
