He's just under 500 games short of that with Texas. He's at 1030.

Who did Adam Jones play for before? If I were a betting man I would have said he hasn't played for anybody else before. Blue Jays? White Sox? Nationals? Nothing really rings a bell.

Seattle. I don't remember that. But it happened.

Seattle. Mariners fans will tell you it was the biggest robbery of a trade ever completed in any sport.

Adam Jones, George Sherrill, Kam Mickolio, Chris Tillman, and Tony Butler to Baltimore for Erik freakin' Bedard.

And here's proof it really did happen.

Does not sound familiar at all. I barely remember Bedard on the Orioles either, mostly just on the Mariners.

My Brett Gardner guess was off both by games played (1,282) and because he has only played for the Yankees, which I assumed but didn't have another name in mind.

Fact that supported the trivia question to begin with: Yadier Molina is going to play his 1,800th game as a Cardinal, and it is the only team he has ever played for.

Now he's just 1,508 games behind Carl Yastrzemski for most games with one team. And 1,226 games behind the Cardinals all-time leader, Stan Musial.

I was thinking Victor Martinez would be a decent guess. But I'm going with Adam Jones and Miggy too. Just sounds right.

V-Mart has only been in Detroit for 7 years, so there's no way he could've played 1500 games for the Tigers.

Tim Tebow has hit safely in 15 of his last 19 games in AA (.306).

It is those two. I paused it right at the trivia question itself, and I thought they were going to answer it after the break. Nope, they jumped straight to the answer afterward.

Somebody called out "The answer to every question: Miggy." Then somebody else said: "The other is a trick question: Joey Votto." Of course that was wrong, then the guy said Adam Jones, and they flashed it on the bottom.

They've actually both played 1,544 games with their respective teams.

Feels like he's been there for an eternity. But that's why I second guessed myself. I knew he was in Boston not even 10 years ago.

I would guess J.D., but I'm not sure if that's right.

EDIT: Just looked it up. That's not who I was expecting.
