I'd hate to lose EE, but Jays got to start thinking what's best for the team with the small window they got. If signing Davis and then trading EE for SP is what's best, then they have to do it.

Though if they somehow managed to keep EE after signing Davis...lol that lineup: Donaldson,Bautista,EE,Davis,Tulo,Martin. How's that for a lineup.

I bet you dollars to donuts that Tulo won't be here next season.

If the rumors about Shapiro are true, then ya,he probably is gone, but who replaces him? Unless they think a Goins-Travis SS-2B combo is good enough(with virtually no backup behind them).

Dumb that the Diamondbacks are changing their jerseys. They have nice, unique jerseys. No need to change them.

The rumors i've heard is that it's Tulo who's not very comfortable playing in Toronto and if offered a trade to a west division team he'll jump at that opportunity.

There's already talk of one of his Indians cronies (Ron Atkinson) being the new GM.
              Ross Atkins? lol

              He didn't actually say this.

              Seems like speculation

I haven't heard anything about that personally but I'll see what I can find

SPTO, I heard the same rumours about Chris Davis. I think it was on Sporsnet and the talking heads on XM MLB were saying the same things.
If that's true, then I would think Tulo's gone and I'd assume Goins will probably take over full-time at SS?

That seems like the plan if Tulo is gone. The feeling is that you're going to have to deal one of the big bats for a top end rotation guy.

And AC yeah Ross Atkins, sorry I got his name wrong.

Trading Tulo for a starting SP really won't be bad, but Jays don't got backups behind Goins/Travis(if Travis is even gonna be ready for regular season). Pennington is a FA, Barney is a free agent, Kawasaki isn't exactly someone you want as a top backup option.

Or maybe Shapiro would want Jays going after Asdrubal Cabrera as a replacement if Tulo gets traded(and Goins is the 2B/SS backup), since Cabrera was the longtime SS in Cleveland. Save 10M going from Tulo to Cabrera, and pick up a good starting pitcher in the process. I think that'd be best scenario, regardless if they do go after Davis or not. But if they do get Davis, EE will obviously be the biggest question mark on the team. Sure,he got 1 year deal, but it's a 1 year deal at such a cheap price, for a guy with 40HR power.

As of right now the mystery team is signing Byung-Ho Park 12.85 posting fee. Teams that did not bid were Tigers, Indians or Red Sox.

I read Indians and Red Sox both put bids in but where not the highest. Other teams being reported that did not win the bid are the Padres, Rangers, & Orioles.

Yep you're right on the teams I mentioned. I misread the article.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
