Good gawd man! Hopefully for Arizona's sake they're not this year's San Diego Padres.

As for the Braves....I honestly have no idea what this front office is doing. This is just madness.


In other news:

- I really like the Zobrist signing for the Cubbies. He's going to be a steadying influence and the fact that he has great ABs will greatly help them in the stretch and in the playoffs. Maybe his influence will rub off on the other guys. I like the return the Cubs got from the Castro deal as I think Warren could be a valuable guy whether they put him in the pen or as a starter.

- Castro to the Yankees is a master stroke by Cashman. He effectively cures the ailment of no production out of 2B and he can spell DiDi at Short when the need arises. He's also pretty cheap and under control for 4 more years.

Holy **** that return if true. Hearing from multiple sources Ender Inciarte, Aaron Blair and Dansby Swanson are involved in the Shelby Miller deal. Dansby is a top 10 OVR prospect and Blair is top 65.

He's pretty much a guaranteed 5.0 WAR player every year that can do everything besides pitch or catch. He also gets on base at an extremely high level for a middle infielder. Plays solid defense, etc. Plus, Maddon obviously knows how to use him. What's not to like?

He is a MUCH better offensive player than Heyward.
