I don't think bush did it on purpose, he's a rookie that just came up. The way Bautista acted isn't cool at all in my opinion, Espeacilly trying to take Odor out with a dirty slide afterwords. Kind of glad Odor gave him a good slug in the face. That could have broke Odors leg or damaged his knee.

That dirty slide used to be legal and instinctual. Really don't think it's dirty.

The Rangers had six other games this year to do something like this. Bush is trying to stay on the straight and narrow having a short leash to begin with. The Rangers were up by one run late in the game with Encarnacion and Smoak coming up to bat with no outs. Bautista hasn't been hitting the broad side of a barn lately. The Rangers had to fight tooth and nail to get back from behind earlier in the game.

But yeah, it was "sour grapes." We're going to throw away a game in a division where one game could decide home field advantage or even going to the playoffs.

If Bautista was so upset at being hit, he would have gone after Bush. But it's easier to go after a smaller second baseman than a man who just got out of prison. Well, it was before his dental visit tomorrow...

Just about everyone, outside of Rangers fans, see this for what it was. Revenge for last year.

But keep defending the action as though the Rangers were innocent, and even a victim, in this situation. Its quite entertaining.

Look he was ordered to hit Bautista. And he hit him exactly where you're supposed to in these situations, the ribs.

Well you can't prove intent. You and 90% of baseball fans can think what they want but it doesn't make it a fact. Only a handful of people know the real truth. I'm on the fence on if it was done on purpose. I just don't see why he would do that.

Just like you can't prove that wasn't intentional.

He did it because the Rangers were upset over the whole bat flip from last year's ALDS.

So Bush just happened be aiming for a fastball off the outside of the plate and it happened to get away and hit Bautista perfectly in the ribs???

My favorite part is Joey didn't charge the mound because when that happens you're surrounded by the other team. So I'll just play it smart, do a takeout slide on the second baseman, and...get my ****ing jaw cracked. Hilarious.

And I love when teams hate each other but given my name that's unsurprising I guess. Gives the fans even more to rally behind, not only do I want us to win, I want them to lose.

Not sure why Rangers waited if intentional. Not sure why Bautista didn't go after Bush. Slide was dirty. Odor looked like he was throwing the ball at his head. Punch was great!

I had no problem with the bat flip last year and I hate the unwritten rules of baseball. It's ridiculous. Someone shows you up so you think it's okay to throw a 90+ mph baseball at them? SMH

Like I said to 55, Robbie Ross hit Carlos Gomez yesterday. Was he ordered to? Was it revenge for something?

But then again, I'm just a yeehaw so I reckon I don't know much about it.
