Didn't get to catch the game but saw his line. 12 Ks and 9 hits in 5 IP... were there a lot of bloops/seeing-eye-singles or something?

I only casually follow the Pirates, but I thought it was odd they brought Watson in with Trout/Pujols hitting second/third in the inning. And Calhoun ripped the single to lead off the inning.

Corey Seager with another multi homer game. I'd sooooo glad we never traded this guy.

When I thought the most boring commentator in baseball was Tim McCarver...

Aaron Boone: you're making a run at it.

I actually didn't turn it on until Cahill was in the game, but according to Len and Jim, his stuff was really moving. The D'Backs just happened to have their bats in the way of the ball from time to time. It was an odd line though. The Cubs struck out, I think, 18 D'Backs altogether.

I hate McCarver, he is the ultimate dbag. I cringe when I hear him in Cardinal highlights, that idiot could over analyze breakfast.

Cardinals take 2 of 3 against the Giants. Next up is 3 at the Reds. I smell a sweep.

Arrieta got BABIPed to death (9 of the 10 balls put in play against him went for hits). Sometimes balls hit on the ground find holes.

M's called up top pitching prospect Edwin Diez couple days ago. Moved him from the rotation to the 'pen a few weeks ago, and he hasn't given up an ER since. We could use his 100 mph heater. Wouldn't surprise me if he's closing by the end of the season.

Then once he has success deal him our way for an innings eating pitcher.

On paper, the Cubs vs Adam Morgan should be a 2nd round knockout. We'll see if this one is anything like that or not.
