A lot depends on how the Yankees do this week but I expect either Tex and/or Beltran in different uniforms on Aug. 1st.

If you're the Yankees, don't you at least have to toy with the idea of keeping Miller after this package you picked up from the Cubs? You have Miller under control for the next few seasons and there is a good possibility that you'll get Chapman back this winter (he has continuously stated that he'd like to return to the Yankees), and now you just picked up some great pieces from the Cubs.

I don't know, if I'm the Yankees, I'm trading maybe Beltran and getting a return on him and then letting Tex walk this winter and see what I can do in free agency to put a competitive team on the field next year.

Personally, I don't think the Yankees should go into complete rebuilding mode.

So let me get this straight, we get Warren back, we basically got Castro for nothing. We got the cubs number 1 and 5 prospects, and Chapman likely will come back.

Depends. We still have Betances, and could get Chapman back. Teams are gonna be fighting over Miller left and right, it will be interesting.

I want to see the Yankees sell anything they could get good value for; Beltran, Miller, maybe even Tex. It's the smarter play longterm.

I love the deal we got for Chapman.

Cubs fans have to be doubly happy that they gave up their top prospect, are basically unaffected, got the top reliever on the market, and the biggest loser of the day is the Reds! Wins everywhere in Chicago.

Don't see as much in Gleyber as others do but it's obviously a good job by Cashman to get a good amount of talent back.

As a part time Cubs fan, shrug. Didn't change playoff odds at all. Can't really change WS odds. But they just moved blocked prospects. Torres and McKinney would never have played. So can't be too mad. Guess they'll just throw him out every game in the playoffs. 6, 9 out saves? lol

Headley and Texeira will bring back pocket lint that we can sell the braves for their top prospects.
