    Yankees are shopping Ivan Nova.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Also, what a terrible move for the Reds. Top guy (other than Lucroy) at the deadline, and they gave him up too early. I'd be pissed.
I don't think that means what you think it means.

They won't get squat for Headley. Call me crazy, but he's probably the worst everyday starting 3B in the majors. (Look at every starting 3B in the league and who's he better than?) Plus, he's due $13M for the next 2/3 years- and he's not getting better.

Beltran is an interesting target. I imagine the Giants would have some interest and are a natural fit with that dreadful OF they have with Pence out.

The Cubs are seriously going to rotate closers? That makes no sense to me.

Not getting the Yankee fans thinking they won some sort of lotto...Cubs lose nothing with that trade.

You misread the post... He meant Strop in the 7th, Rondon in the 8th and Chapman in the 9th.

Rangers interested in Vince Velasquez. I would be shocked if the Phillies traded him.

It's because the Yankees haven't developed a decent position player in about 10 years and their fans are grasping at straws for any glimmer of hope beyond Bryce Harper's FA year.

Yeah...but only because the Cubs system was so deep that they could afford to trade Torres and McKinney. That's a pretty good haul especially for 1/2 year of Chapman.

This is actually quite similar to what the Cubs got for Jeff Samardzija at the 2014 deadline: a young, high potential shortstop; Billy McKinney, and an expendable arm...plus this Crawford guy as a throw in.

No it's not who you are thinking. Please be more cautious before making an accusation like that or report the post.

                        It's not fair.

If it's true the conversation for Chris Sale starts with Mookie Betts, the rest of the conversation should be, "Bahahahaha."

I dunno, Sale has a lot of term left AND one of the cheapest deals for a guy of his talent. The Sawx need SP pretty badly if they want to win it all this year but yeah, I can see where Betts is an untouchable. The guy has totally blossomed into a very reliable bat.

It's not an idea that has to be laughed at but rather if I were Dombrowski i'd try to steer the conversation towards other players/prospects.

Robbie Cano turned out pretty well. Brett Gardner has been decent. Greg Bird looks to be a future all star.
