Well, one HR came after the previous pitch should've been strike 3, and he gave up a HR to Lariano which hardly counts. Gave up 3 in the 1st, 1 after which was HR to the pitcher. The 3 run bomb he gave up last game was after a would be strike 3 down the middle. Plus 2 of those starts were 2 months apart. He has been up in the zone to much which is an indication of rust. I'm more concerned with his lowish strikeout numbers lately. His velocity is is the 92-93 range. Like it was last year. His curve and changeup don't have as much bite to them. I like that trade. Storen had been horrible for Jays. Benoit hasn't worked out in Seattle either, but prior to this year, he had 5 of past 6 years with ERA under 3. Hopefully his decline this year isn't due to age, and a change of scenery can get him back to his pre 2016 self.
Benoit and Grilli in the Jays bullpen, nice veteran leadership over here. Hope Benoit can have a Latroy Hawkins type impact on this bullpen.Comment

Meh, I know in my mind this team should sell, but my heart tells me to keep pushing for a wildcard spot.
Tough spot to be in, and I'm the sure the offers for Miller are going to be interesting to say the least.

Meh that contract is ugly, even though the Brewers are eager to get that contract off their payroll. I'd offer Wade, Mckinney, and another fringe prospect for him and see if they'd bite, but if not leave it alone.
After further digging Reddick seems the most attractive to me, his contract is beautiful, and he'd bolster this lineup, plus he's up after this year. Not sure what Beane would want though.
Cargo doesn't seem realistic, not sure on Bruce.
