That Marlins/Padres deal was a good ol' fashioned trade right there. I'd say the Pads got the better end of it but knowing how everything Preller has done has basically blown up in his face....maybe not.

According to Jon Heyman the Yankees would not do a Giolito for Miller trade, straight up. This comes after a report from JPM that his sources believe the Nats would do that trade.

If I'm the Yankees I do that trade.

Yep. That's exactly how I feel about it. If you can get a bonafide stud prospect that has the upside of a Cy Young contender you do it. Also Heyman said that the Yanks would need triple what they got for Chapman, in terms of quality, to move Miller.

If Cash can get Giolito for Miller, he needs to be put in Monument Park, straight up.

Triple what Chapman got makes sense in theory because Miller has 2 more years, but with what we got for Chappie triple that haul could get a team Chris Sale, we aren't going to triple that for a reliever, the only reason we made out so well with Chappie is because the Cubs were dealing from a strength. I dont know if I believe they turned down Giolito for Miller, but if that was offered I expect to end up with it, I dont think Cashman truly believes Miller is worth more than that, but you gotta try right?

Brewers have received 1 offer for Ryan Braun. It was reported that the offer was horrible.

This made me burst out laughing!

They've gotten one offer...and it was terrible. Sounds like a yard sale.
