Last season they made it to the WS, lose game seven, and brought in the best position player in baseball. What do they do this time around?

Beltran? Johnson? And who is going to be shown the door? Bernie Williams? Some of the coaches?

Nothing much, sign Beltran, Sheff retires, move Bernie to RF, sure up the starting rotation and win the '05 World Series.

The Vladster never snubbed the Yanks. Even when he was a Montreal the reports said he was a quiet person that didnt want the spotlight on him 24/7.

The Yanks never made him a offer.

Beltran will be a Yank by opening day next season. Trust me on this one!!!!!

Cashman didn't think he could handle the pressure of New York, and thought Sheffield would be a better fit, which he was. If Vlady signed with the Yanks last off season he woulda pissed 60 games and his back would have flared up all seaosn, he woulda hit .270 with 30 homers and 85 RBI.

It was smart not signing him.
