Yep Jistic, You can add your Sosa to the list, and throw in Bonds,Kapler,Gagne,Boone,,etc...Baseball's goin' to hell, and i wonder if "Roids" will be an added feature to this year's titles comin' out ie in MVP,ESPN, and MLB?? 'is is just sad!

Oh yeah Jistic...We got Alex Brown 'till 2011!! This guy is a BEAST!
I remember how you would accuse people last year and I would try to defend them and how we should wait to see how everything transpires...boy was I wrong

I think anyone who tries to defend Bonds is in serious denial.I defended him last year, but all the evidence just leads you to believe that he took Roids also as well as the other losers Motown just mentioned.

Re: Giambi admits to doing steroids

I got a couple questions... If the testimony he gave in court was supposed to be kept secret, how did it get out? Was it supposed to be legally confidential or what? Also, anyone who saw his preseason interview with ESPN (this year or last year, can't remember), did you think from the beginning that he was lying out his butt? I mean he just kept saying "I really only lost like 4 pounds, I just cleaned up my diet" even at totally inopportune times. Watching them replay that scene today just made me think that he has to feel like absolute dung right now.

And if you honestly think Bonds isn't on steroids... shame on you. But technically there isn't any concrete evidence, but I never heard of any machine in the weight room that works your forehead. Just my two cents.

I have defended him too but its gonna come out soon. The funny thing is that steriods do not make everyone better, look at Jeremy Giambi . He should have double dosed it.

Anyways Bonds is still a great player, it just makes you wonder where his stats would have started to decline if he wasnt on the juice. And to add to Motown's comment, Corky has to be included and so does Bic Neddle mark McGuire. I was in Missouri last week for Thanksgiving with my fiance and we passed Mark McGwire highway. I commented that they should have a needle next to the highway number

Barry Bonds would not be playing now if he didn't take roids....

Roids=Increased Bat speed which leads to more homeruns which leads to teams not pitching to him...

Granted Bonds is not just an average man who took steroids and became the best hitter in baseball. There is still a degree of having to see pitches to hit and such that steroids can't improve. But no doubt about it, there's no way he would have hit 73 homers(!) in a season, or have a astronomical OBP without that aid. So I still think he would be a major leaguer even without steriods, but he might have been the less power but lots of speed combination that made him such a force with the Pirates.

Re: Giambi admits to doing steroids

First of all, I think this is a disgrace to baseball. I have worked in the industry for about 3 years now, and I realize that the game isn't pure or perfect, and the players aren't angels. I know some of the secrets that some of the minor leaguers carry with them, but most of it involves orgies and narcotics . But this, steroids, it just bothers me. It just screws with what you see as being genuine. It takes away more of the innocence of what is done on the field and turns it into a game of who has the best "pharmacist." Unless...

Unless, for arguments sake, you bring up the point about how much steroids really affect the on-the-field abilities of the players. We are all hearing the sexy names in baseball being tossed around as being steriod users: Bonds, Sosa, Giambi, Sheffield, etc. But how about the other guys that have been named who didn't, apparently at least, get that much of a benefit from the steroids. Bobby Estellella (sp?), Benito Santiago, Armando Rios, Jeremy Giambi. Hell, Jeremy admitted to using the exact cocktail his brother did, and I don't even think he played at the major league level last year. You have to wonder if this stuff actually affects the abilities of the players, and if so, how much?

I am not sure if I believe any of what I just wrote, I just wanted to throw something out there for the masses to think about.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Bud Selig's fault and also to some extent the Players Assocation. Selig needed something to bring the fans back, the answer HOME RUNS. So he turned a blind eye to it, and the players association should have stopped it too because they knew it was wrong. If they really care about their players they would have done something, now you'll see more end up like Ken Caminiti. And ya he died of a drug OD but the roids also killed his body.
