Re: Giambi admits to doing steroids
I'm not trying to say steroids kills but how long do you think Jason has to live, as he has already been hit with a pretty serious parasite, and seeing what happened to Caminiti. I'd be very suprised to see him last another 10 years.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

As for the other portion of your question...Caminiti's death was a drug overdose, not related to steroids. I would think that Giambi won't be using them anymore after going through his cancer scare and now that the truth is out.
MLB will not be able to discipline him because there was an agreement that anything prior to this year could not be brought against the players.Comment

Re: Giambi admits to doing steroids
I gave Giambi the benefit of the doubt last season. When he came into Spring Training a lot smaller I thought he just changed his diet like he said. Even when his "injury" came up I was worried about his health and didn't want to jump to conclusions about roid use.
Well now he has admitted under oath that he did used Roids. So he basically cheated not only himself in terms of his health, but also all the clean players of the past and present. The fans also get screwed knowing his numbers aren't legit.
I want this liar and piece of crap off my team. I know this would never happen but Giambi as well as every other player that took roids should get at least a one year suspension or better yet, a lifetime ban from baseball.
I'm sick to my stomach right now.
But even with this said, I won't convict Bonds until I see concrete evidence he uses roids. For now I'll just believe he works out really hard and that's why he's so big.Comment

Woulda never guessed...
The true fan always know his bounds, unlike the wagon-jumping hounds,
Who never feel the slightest shame for changing hats from game to game.
The players come and then they go, but one thing for certain that I know,
With purple hearts we take a stand.... for loyal is the Viking Fan.Comment
