i don't know if this is true, but i heard that steriods can be the difference between hitting the warning track or hitting a home run. It can also add a few mph to your pitching. I'm not sure if gagne has always been able to throw this hard, but this past season he was able to throw in the in the 97-100 range.

I think its biggest effect is allowing players to remain in top physical condition as they get older. Bonds, Clemens? This whole thing has me so discouraged about baseball. Never thought I could be discouraged the year after the Red Sox finally won.

Bonds is innoce until proven guilty. No one knows if he took roids except him but no one has this record or anything so how would we know and i dont think just cause its his trainer it would have to do much i heard somewhere you had to see if your body is able to take the roids and testasorons.

this is a sad day for baseball. now i wonder whos gonna be next to come out and say they were on em?

Someone else already brought this up, but what about the 2 HRs Giambi hit in game 7 of the 2003 ALCS? didn't that game go into extra innings?? ... very interesting... well, I guess we can be thankful that this post-season the Yankees got caught when they tried to cheat to beat the Red Sox.

Someone else already brought this up, but what about the 2 HRs Giambi hit in game 7 of the 2003 ALCS? didn't that game go into extra innings?? ... very interesting... well, I guess we can be thankful that this post-season the Yankees got caught when they tried to cheat to beat the Red Sox.

Yes i mentioned this earlier. The Yankees won 6-5 in extra innings. Giambi hit 2 solo HR's. It just proves what we already knew, that the Yankees are a dirty bunch of cheaters.
