        Joe's really loving his 5-man infield tonight. lol. This time with a double play already set up.

        EDIT: Didn't work out. Bats went ice cold tonight for the Cubbies.

            I wasn't completely sold on getting Pearce, but here we are.

            .476 BA, 4 doubles, 5 RBI, and a home run since joining the team.

                    Watching highlights from last night...what the heck was Baez doing on that pick off throw that got away down the line? That was almost as bad as Hanley jogging down the line back in Florida...no way a player should ever score from 1st on an errant pickoff throw.

                        To be fair, he did have good stretches at times with the Jays.

                        In the 12 games leading up to his injury in May, he hit .316 with .787OPS, 8RBIs and 2 doubles. And .385 with a HR,2B,3RBI,1.121OPS in the few games he played with Jays in June before the trade.

                            Just a brain fart of the old Starlin Castro kind. I think Baez just assumed that Hanson would stop at 3rd because of Javy's arm strength and got lackadaisical.

                                            Seriously...is AA going to sit and do nothing watching this bullpen? I keep hearing talk of a SP or Machado...forget that and get a reliever or two who can get someone out.

                                                    I thought the Braves had been playing above their heads all year, but I didn't think we were this bad. No wonder the Orioles had no issues with this team, they are terrible.
