Hate what I’m seeing from Braves right now...they look burnt out, no life, and disappointed in Freeman right now. This is when the team needs him to step up and instead he looks apathetic and in a daze. Just not fun to watch right now...

Cubs doing that thing where not scoring runs is contagious again. 16 innings in SF so far against very mediocre pitching and we've scored one measly run.

Derek Holland looks like vintage Cole Hamels tonight against this offense.

        Not very inspiring to watch

And just like that, Addy creates a run. Great dirt read

Can't believe the Astros won like that. Always something new.

Also, it'll be criminal if Andrelton Simmons doesn't win the final vote.

Cardinals put up 14 runs against the ChiSox and get the win last night.

This means they will lose today.

That was the damnedest ending to a baseball game that I can ever recall seeing. Absolutely nuts.

Braves have lost six of their last seven.

Playing division leaders or not, that can't happen to a team that is trying to contend. It's one thing to have a bad week, but this has been building for some time.

The lineup we're trotting out night after night is the worst one you can possibly build with this current roster. Ender has proven time and time again that he mentally is not a leadoff hitter. I'm not sure what else needs to happen for that to be evident. But he just cannot function when he bats first. When the offense was at its best Albies was leading off, but we're still committed to this for some reason.

But the bullpen is just...I don't know what more I need to say. If something isn't done by the time the series against the Diamondbacks opens on Friday, then the Braves may as well wave the white flag on the season. There isn't a single arm I trust to protect a two run lead in the 9th anymore. Not a single one.

It could either be they hit a roadblock or this is the wall that teams that jump up a year or so early usually hit. Having watched a bit last night i'm starting to feel it's the latter. if i'm AA i'm not sure I go and trade prospect capital just yet (high end ones at least) but i'd make some moves around the margins.

I expect some aspects of this team to look radically different heading into the 2019 season. The way I took his comments on the radio the other night leads me to believe this was always going to be a "wait and see what i've got" type of year for him no matter the results.

Ozzie has an OPS .150 better when hitting 2nd so he'll likely stay where he is.

Inciarte's defense is why he's still in the lineup but he needs to be dropped. Perhaps try Camargo? I hope Acuna can turn it on after the break and be the bat the lineup desperately needs.

I fear any trade Atlanta does because of how long it took to get to this point. I don't want to see good talent go for quick fixes just to make a WC game we may lose.

Red Sox coaching staff has more plate appearances against Bartolo Colon (63) than do the players on the roster (62).

Don't think I'm speaking out of turn when I say that Willson Contreras is balls tough out there today. Hopefully Yadi's not watching this game right now.
