Was an 8 game lead. I can just sense it slipping away. Plus Paxton went on the DL. And whoever starts in his and Felix's place is pretty much a guaranteed loss unless we can score 10+ that day.

Good, good. Let the doubt flow through you.

I was going to try to talk some sense but why should I try? If Paxton missing one start is the one fateful domino then you're right, the A's are the better team.

I know the M's have disappointed when trying to make the playoffs the last few years but honestly, no one expected them to be this good so far. Can't you just enjoy the run and not get all doubtful. Lean back, enjoy it for what it is and if they're in the hunt in the last couple weeks of the year. THAT'S when you can start getting hyper critical and worrying about what they're doing.

Although, I wouldn't be surprised if the A's come back and take that 2nd WC spot.

The Reds and A's have been winning alot. Two teams you just never expected. Seems like they just keep hitting.

Say what you want about Trout being better than Betts, correct as it may be (even if at least for longevity alone)...

... but Betts is the more exciting player to watch, at least in my book. I will stop what I'm doing to watch a Betts at-bat. I cannot say the same thing for Trout.

The Cubs currently have the best record in the NL and would be 3 GB of Seattle in the AL Wild Card race. I think this shows how top heavy the AL is this year and how mixed up the NL is this year. As long as we don't get into Eastern Conference vs Western Conference type stasis like in NBA (which we won't) then I think it's fine.

He was the one who had a 50+ game hitting streak at AA was it? Looking forward to seeing him play.

                              Correct. Exactly 50 games.

NL had one of those a few years back. It evens out.
