I'm so jealous of this Houston feed. There's no K zone box. It's amazing!

Baseball God shenaigans. I'm not sure which one is the Jester but they got control in that 11th. They did review something at the end but I think it was to see if Bregman ran outside the lane.

Conversely, I'm forced to watch on MLBN because the A's still can't figure out (or fund?) broadcasting day games. Always interesting listening to the other teams broadcast team.

I'm hoping on some late game fireworks. It's almost guaranteed with this A's team lately.

After the fireworks (which I can't believe the Astros don't have a camera angle for that corner?!?) Butcher is putting on a PFP clinic.

I'm guessing by spam you mean the multiple posts in a row, but please don't stop posting about the A's as this seems to be the only place anyone is regularly talking about them!!

Garrett Richards to have TJ Surgery.

I see the 6 man rotation worked out real well for them this year.

To be fair, the 5 man rotation last year wasn't much better for them. Turns out having 10 incredibly injury prone pitchers and just hoping they all don't get hurt at the same time, isn't the best strategy

I said the same thing in spring training.

I don't know what they do to their starting pitchers, but they do seem to all be constantly needing TJ surgery. Can't think of any one they have who hasn't gone down injured for a long time in the past 2 or 3 years, a lot of them have done it repeatedly

The following have had TJ/Elbow/Arm surgery under the Angels watch.

                          Nick Tropeano
                          Andrew Heaney
                          Tyler Skaggs
                          J.C. Ramirez
John Lamb (As of last week)
                          Garrett Richards (As of today)
                          Blake Wood
                          Alex Meyer
                          Matt Shoemaker
                          Keynan Middleton
                          Nate Smith

Ohtani will be next you can certainly bet on it.

This is a big bummer. Richards was a guy they could have sold at the deadline if they fell far enough out of it too. Can't really think of any other guys on the Angels that (1) they'd be willing to sell and (2) would get decent prospects back.....maybe Maldonado or Skaggs?

A thousand times this. Yes, the Angels might need to rethink some things...dismiss their medical staff...or both. I feel so bad that Mike Trout will still have only played in 3 playoff games total as of Opening Day 2019. It just seems really wrong what the Angels are doing to this guy and wasting his unbelievable talent. I mean, the Texas Rangers did the same crap with A-Rod in the early 2000s, and other teams have as well, but teams are supposed to be so much smarter now...you get the good fortune of having an all-timer on your club and by God you better put a contender around him. Can't do that if your pitching staff is a M.A.S.H. unit every year.

Have to start with kicking Mike Scioscia to the curb. He's been there long enough. Need some fresh blood in there. Funny how Jerry DiPoto is now thriving in Seattle since his and Mike's verbal altercation a few years ago. Maybe Jerry wasn't the problem..........Think about it.

Doesn't help That Artie Moreno throws around money like it's going out of style.

I've been preaching for a few years now that the Angels are wasting Mike Trout's prime years. I've suggested they should consider trading the guy cause they have no farm and literally no future.

It's sad he'll have 3 playoff appearances and zero playoff wins. Not his fault.
