Mookie did not follow up his 13-pitch grand slam with another, unfortunately.

All he's done tonight is hit two straight triples.

Whelp the Mariners are done. Was fun while it lasted. Another year of no playoffs. Sucks, but wtf do you expect when you have 0 pitching depth. Should just sell at the TD, lord knows we cant buy with the trash we have down on the farm.

Chatwood back on pace for a 7-run in 4+ IP start. Was getting worried for second his streak might die.

Jeez. Chatwood is lost out there. 2 out single to the pitcher followed by a HR to Jankowski. Not to mention he is keeping pace with 2 BB's in the first 2 innings

Edwin Jackson balking in the first run. Lolz.

Lowrie comes out of the game in the 5th after a collision earlier in the game on a pop up. He looked to twist an ankle maybe.

Chatwood's career could be the done the way it's going for him. In some ways you gotta pity him a bit.

I do feel for the guy cause you can tell he doesn't really have any idea how to fix anything. He was never a great control guy, but his home-road splits suggested he was definitely hurt by Coors Field, and while it may not have been the best move to throw nearly $40M at him, I don't think anyone could have expected this....(Although props to him for kind of not being terrible tonight)

Anyway, the world's greatest lead-off hitter at it again with a clutch 2B in the ninth. Hopefully this gets things going for Rizzo as he's had a tough couple weeks

That is about the last guy you want to be running when you overthrow the 2B.

I'm not convinced he would have stopped running even if the CF didn't boot it.

I will take it. Nice to see Rizzo have a good game after my recent bitching about him. He really needs to stay as the leadoff hitter.

So much for sweeping the Reds. Getting swept might be a good bet.

At least Moz has stated they will make trades to better the future since their doesn’t seem to be that one piece needed to turn things around immediately.

Maybe he’ll stop selling off the future to win now, which he’s failing miserably at
