Jacob deGrom has informed the Rangers he is interested in signing with them.

Trea Turner has informed the Phillies he is interested in signing with them.

If Rangers get deGrom, keep Perez, and address their outfield, they could be a very fun team to watch next season.

Phillies are supposedly going to go after Carlos Rodon as well. I heard that Rodon and Turner were their top two targets in free agency.

I'd like to see the Rangers bring Gallo back and "see what happens". I believe he could be had on the cheap (one or two year deal) or a multiyear deal with club options in the early years and player options later. Gallo is still loved by the fan base here and it seems like he's comfortable playing for Texas.

                That's an interesting move.

So he thinks he's getting 30m+?

Will it be with Astros or elsewhere?

Jays were runners up last season (I think with same offer as Astros?) so maybe he looks there? Teammates with Springer for a few years, maybe Springer could help lure him in?

And if Verlander wins a Cy Young in Toronto, he'd be the 2nd to ever win Cy Youngs with 3 diff teams (Clemens* the first).

I might be misunderstanding your post, but hasn’t Verlander only won a WS with one team?

He has 2 World Series rings. He’s only won one WS game

Correct. He has appeared in 5 WS total, 2 w/ Detroit and 3 w/ Houston.

Seems like a decent 1B, don't tease me being active in free agency Pirates.

That's 1 Jays killer from TB gone...I'm sure they'll find another after 2 games of the season.

His batting average might have sucked, but his OPS of almost .800 vs them in his career, capped by a 2021 season where he had an OBP over .400 and OPS at almost .900 vs them!

                                That would be interesting.

Sign Turner, Bogearts, or Correa, and deal Bo?

Next question, if that happens, does Bo get moved in some deal involving Ohtani (assuming Jays sign him long term)? Would Angels say no?

I hate offseason rumors making me think Springer, Turner/Correa/Bogearts, Vlad, Ohtani, Chapman, Hernandez lineup could happen with Ohtani, Manoah, Gausman in the rotation.
