Dodgers and Kershaw reportedly close on a one year deal
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Kershaw Deal done, back to LA for another year.

No reason for the Angels to move Ohtani this offseason. He's the biggest cash cow in the majors in 2 different countries. I think they ride it until they get bucked.

Turns out they offered him a 1 yr deal, he said no... So then they fired him because of what he supposedly said at GM meetings this week.

ESPN article on the firing talked a lot about the Owner Crane sticking his nose in GM business and that souring the relationship. Any Houston fans with insight? Crane have Jerry Jones syndrome?

Jim Crane seems like a real *******.

                    Braves sign Nick Anderson.

AA must be following my Braves MLBTS franchise.

Now the question you have to wonder..What does it mean for Verlander? You can return to the defending champs, but your management is also now going to be all over the place and who knows what the direction of the team is.

The deferred money isn’t that uncommon, the Nationals are going to be paying Scherzer to pitch against them the next two years. As long as Cohen isn’t investing his money with Bernie Madoff they’ll be fine

Yes, but not for like 15 years after his deal is even done.

For several of those year, Mets will be paying Diaz AND Bonilla, and from 2004-2042 they will be paying one or more guys who don't even play for them (Saberhagen, Bonilla, Diaz)
