    Re: 2022 - 2023 Hot Stove Thread

With Perez accepting the QA and Odorizzi picked up earlier I'm starting to get the impression that deGrom's lack of market interest may lead him back to NY.

I'd rather have a Rodon/Senga signing instead with what he's asking for.....

Guessing Verlander ends up in with Dodgers now that Anderson turned them down.

Verlander doesnt have draft pick attached to him like deGrom does.

Yankees fans acting like signing Rizzo makes them World Series favorites lol. With Rizzo and Judge, they were destroyed in the ALCS.

He would have been better off trying to work out a deal with the Mets where he doesn’t opt out and the Mets agreed to decline the club option for 2024. He needs a year to prove the last two years worth of injuries were a fluke if he wants to really cash in

Texas is still very much in on DeGrom and, less so, Rodon. The Rangers don't have Steve Cohen money, but they do have a lot in reserve and are ready to spend.

I'm waiting for Cleveland to make themselves a favorite by making a splash trade for Danny Jensen or Alejandro Kirk. I know people that love prospects are high on Bo Naylor, but if you package him up with another prospect, I think it would benefit both clubs. And I'm not sure Toronto goes into next season with those two catching options, they have holes to fill as well and one of those guys could bring back a filler.

Do Jays have room for TWO BOs?

They have Moreno already, no need for Naylor.

Now, if Cleveland wants to deal Quantrill, then we could talk.

Jays DFA Tapia and Zimmer to make room on their 40 man roster.

They now have 0 OF on their 40 man roster with big league experience who hit left handed.

They'll definitely be in the market for a backup left handed hitting OF.
