But some kids see these guys making 100 million dollar contracts. Or what about the kids in poor latin countries that see their countrymen making 100 million dollars?? Of course they're gonna get influenced............but its wrong, and baseball has to stop it. And not with that sh*tty policy they have now.

See then youre talking about a different problem. In some countries using might be driven more by getting out of poverty... do it for different reasons, vanity for example.

This hearing is good for the whole world to see what a bunch of liars Pro Atheletes can be.

Yes, who cares if it's a blantatly unconstitutional use of government power. I wanna hear all these players dirty secrets to satisfy my own curiosity!

I don't know why but kids can't see like the fantasy world the atheletes live in and what they do. So kids hear atheletes are talking steriods, so they believe it's ok for them to do it.

So what? This is the most pathetic cop-out argument to excuse one's actions on par with THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!!!!

Parents don't see what there kids bring home on a daily basis or what they do outside of there homes. What do you want Parents to do pat down there childern every time they walk into there house?

I will amend what i said earlier. Parents are mostly to blame for their own stupid kids, but in some cases you just gotta blame the stupid kid for his own stupid actions. Those who take steroids do so of their own free will. There is no coercion invovled. It's called personal repsonbility. It's not all that hard a concept to grasp.

But the problem is, the media is going around causing all this talk about who might be taking steroids, I would understand your argument more if it was based on a player that came out and said taking steroids is ok, but none of these athletes have admitted to using them, atleast knowingly, and furthermore none of them have stated its ok to use them. To assume who is or isnt using them and then blame a kids death solely on hearsay sounds totally rediculous to me, but thats just my opinion.

And if it was to come out stating that Torri uses roids Im sure you Uncle would sit there and tell your cousin about the negative effects of roids and how he shouldnt get into them because they offer no benefit....If you Uncle and Aunt said nothing Im sure your cousin would go on idolizing Torri and POSSIBLY use steroids....

Not every 10-12 year old right now is going to remeber when theyre starting HS ball and be like I remeber 4 years back when Barry was MVP like 2 times and he used roids so that what im going to do because I idolize him....
