You're lucky that D-Cab is a joke and put up a performance that a AA pitcher could easily top, and DuBose and Brower are trash. Amazing that had our bullpen blanked you guys, the O's would have an 8-7 lead.

The Red Sox would have played this game alot differently. Timlin would have more than likely been in instead of Seanez.

Either way, you're lucky that D-Cab is a joke and doesn't deserve any hype, praise, or a spot in the rotation. He's never going to improve.

I'll give Seanez a mulligan because of the weather. His stuff looks good, if he can settle down and throw some strikes he'll do fine. Foulke looked good in the 9th, aside from that change he left over the plate to Gomes. Big Schill goes tomorrow.

With Bruce Chen pitching this afternoon, we should get out first full game of Wily Mo Pena.

Never refer to this man as "D-Cab" again. Otherwise, Chuck Norris will R-Hou you in the G-Nads.

BTW, I have no faith in Rudy Seanez at all. He looked piss poor last night, and I am not willing to chalk it up to the weather. Hitters were absolutely crushing the ball off of him. Can't even believe they signed this bum to a multi year contract (even though the 2007 year is a team option). I guess I just have an irrational hatred for Rudy Seanez dating back to the June 2003 game vs. Philadelphia.

Maybe you do... But I'd ease up on writing off a few members of our bullpen. RS can still put it together and Foulke looked alot better.

Here's hoping we get a game. My buddy who is in Baltimore right now just called me and said its been raining all day and she's not feeling too confident about seeing this game. For her sake, I hope they play today because it would suck to go all the way to Baltimore (from NH) and not get to see the game. Unless it rains all day and all night though, they should get it in.

What a play by Manny. Saved a couple runs with that catch.

yeah, and unfortunately for him, he's not going to see many at bats with Trot swinging the bat well.

EDIT - Ugly. He's seen 7 pitches and swung and missed on 6 of them.

Another save in a 1 run game for Papelbon. He throws some serious gas.

It's great to win these 2-1 games. We know the offense will come around, and when it does, it looks like we have at least the starting pitching to keep up with it.

If Foulke can give us anything, and Seanez settles down in the slightest..... Damn!

Too bad Weapon of Mass Potential (WMP) is out of options... Pawtucket wouldn't bee too bad for him IMO.
