Terrible ending to the game tonight...

First it was setup perfectly in the 8th with Papi AND Manny both contributing big in a comeback... Then Gagne gives up 3 runs in the 9th and they take a 7-5 lead then Youkilis fouls a ball into the ground below the catcher the ump says he strikes out... Francona and Youk both get tossed for argueing. Ive never been more disgusted watch a sox game in my life.
18-1 hell of a season regardless

I was at the game today, my first game in over 10 years. Sat in the State Street Pavillion, awesome seats.

Tavarez pitched well, 6ip 2er....really all you could ask for. Our offense was just horrible.

Drew came in to PH in a big spot, and didn't even take the bat off his shoulder....ridiculous

Do my eyes deceive me or is that really a "5" I see in the runs column for the Red Sox tonight against Scott Kazmir?!

It's such a satisfying feeling to see your team sweep a double header, even if it did come against the lowly White Sox. And don't look now, but Gagne is actually starting to pitch like Gagne, albeit in non-save situations.

Yesterday was a very nice. Blew the White Sox out two games, the Yankees end up losing...lead is back up to 6.5 with the big weekend series coming up next weekend...

Going to be a fun, hopefully, September.

Another great outing by Wakefield....7ip 3h 0er.....ties Beckett for the MLB lead with 16 wins
