    Hopefully Kouz continues to swing the bat like a legit major leagure. Although going on past history the fact that he's playing 3rd base for the Padres means he will flame out shortly.

        Bk and other Padre Fans;

        What was your take on Jenkins being thrown out? Brewer announcers said Jenkins didn't even look at the ump and he threw him out. What my eyes saw on replay was Jenkins looking at the ump and swearing it wasn't a strike, walked away towards the dugout a few steps, said more words, but didn't look at the ump. That's what my eyes saw. Clearly, Yost should have been thrown out.

        Braun didn't look too bad either for his debut. He has a quick swing.

            Other than 92 when Sheffield played there, and the Cammy years, that position has been a black hole forever. Tried to fill it with guys like Keith Moreland (way past his prime), George Arias (never had a prime) for decades. Weird that position in particular has been a trouble spot it seems.

            Nevin had a nice year there also.

                Due to their ridiculous TV contract, I didn't see the game, becaue even though I am in their region, they signed an exclusive deal with the local cable company. Brilliant.

                I'll watch it on MLBTV tomorrow.

                    They showed a great angle here where you could read exactly what he said. His exact words were "Oh. No way. That ball was low. That ball was definitely low." He then proceeded to walk towards the dugout, was thrown out, and then said under his breath "F***in bull****", and then argued with the ump.

                      Ok, cool, thanks, pretty much what our replays showed. The Brewers announcers were making the point that the ump has a quick itchy finger and has been impatient in the past. The Brewers announcers didn't at all think Jenkins was trying to show up the ump by walking towards the dugout.

                      I would tend to agree with the announcers on this one, but I just don't why Yost was arguing, after that, it's usually a moot point, unless your trying to stick up for your player and team.

                        I hope it doens't mean anything to you, because if it did it really would be true. It's one thing to wait for the other shoe to drop, but it's a whole other thing wanting the other shoe to drop. You're an "I told you so person". You want Kouzmanoff to fail in every way just so you can say, "I told you so."

                            This is becoming way too common. Umpires who seemingly are looking to throw players/managers out. Almost as if they want to be in the spotlight and make the game about them.

                            The best umpires/officials are the ones you don't notice, I wish some of these guys would figure that out.
