Aramis never seems to appear as though he's feeling anything, even when he hits monster homeruns. He just keeps his mouth shut and plays the game, IMO.

Why trade away one of the best third baseman in the majors?

I thought you guys wanted a championship. Trading away ARam would not be the way to go about doing it.

Like Chief said just because the guy isn't very emotional doesn't mean he isn't trying. Yes he didn't play very well in the playoffs last season, but who did.

I agree with both of you. I think the best is yet to come for A-Ram to be honest.

I hope so...like I said, I liked him before and want to like him again...

I guess what I want to see is real hitting...not just trying to jack everything with Thome-esque swings...both he and Lee seemed to have their heads on wrong all year. Situational hitting and a little patience...the lineup will need to increase this all around to compensate for Soriano...

I hope that Lee just had an off year, because he missed so many middle-in pitches that it was sad...like he knew he should be hitting them but could not. I think Lee is better when he just tries to hit the ball, his power comes from the nature of his trajectory from what is a usually very nice swing and above average height...If I were Lou, I would make him do nothing except try to hit doubles into the gaps...they will turn into HRs.

Not sure if you guys have seen this yet, but I found a somewhat live webcam of Wrigley from Clark and Addison.

I'm seriously needing some baseball right now and was just looking around the net for some Cubs info and happened upon this. I just wish it was live without the pauses. Petty cool though if its running during the season.

maybe this is a sign that Dempster will be released???

have you guys seen the journeymen starters and field players that have been picked up in the last week or so by other teams??

take a look in the thread on the main page...I can't believe the Cubs don't think they could use some depth...

LouP is no idiot...he has to know this is almost a joke.

I've heard there are discussions, but I'm not sure if it's going anywhere. Angelos (O's owner) has a huge man crush on Roberts. Good luck getting him.

I hear it's going to happen soon, Baltimore is just trying to decide what pitchers they want.
