Re: 2008 Chicago Cubs
Well it looks like Soriano is hurt again. Nothing serious looks like he will be out about a week. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come from him again this year."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Re: 2008 Chicago Cubs
It's just knowing how little he worked to get where he's at.
Ahhh I need to just stop being jealous haha. But seriously how can he eat double cheeseburgers, smoke, drink, and get better/bigger/stronger?
Somebody won the genetic lottery and I am jealous.
Anyways he's a really nice guy...I should shut it...Comment

Re: 2008 Chicago Cubs
And he isn't very good to top it off. Is there a minor leaguer with more hype and less production? His ex-ND teammate is by far the better pitcher, and considerably cheaper as well.

Re: 2008 Chicago Cubs
The official website of the Chicago Cubs with the most up-to-date information on news, tickets, schedule, stadium, roster, rumors, scores, and stats.
article discussing the cubs lineup experiments...
TheRiot
Soriano
Lee
Ramirez
Fuk
Is it just me or does Fuku seem like a good guy to put at #2?
I wouldn't breaking up Lee and ARam with the new guy...and, as I have said too many times to count, put Lee at #2...
Soriano seems to be taking well to the idea of not being a leadoff man...and as anyone is likely to argue, with someone on base, he will see more pitches in the zone...
I would rather see Soriano at 4 or 5, however...I think he would be a great guy to protect the other guys...might K, but the threat is always imminent...if Lee or Fuku or Aram got on...then you have to pitch to Soriano...no one would want to see him in those spots...I bet the NLC is hoping he stays at 1 or 2Australian Rules Football...just sayin'Comment

Re: 2008 Chicago Cubs
what are your thoughts on the best lineup for the Cubs?
yesterday, we had
Theriot-Soriano-Lee-Ramirez-Fukudome-DeRosa-Blanco-Pie
I will offer that the following is best...
Theriot
Lee
Soriano
Ramirez
Fukudome
Soto
DeRosa
Pie
That would be fantastic...Lee would kill in the 2 hole (his 3 hole days are behind him), and ARam protecting Soriano would be pretty nice, though there are a lot of strikeouts there...I could see going ARam, Fuku, Soriano 3-4-5, but I don't know if Soriano would go for that, though it might be more productive than the above.Australian Rules Football...just sayin'Comment
