Yes! Yes! 3-0.....but I think Braun hurt himself on his double
I'm going to have to try a Kosher dog, I've only heard good things about them plus they are "filler" free which I like.

I hope Lou faces up, the top of our lineup may not be well thought out.

I think we may have to go to this for right now:

      1. Soriano
      2. Fukudome
      3. Lee
      4. Ram
      5. Derosa
      6. Theriot
      7. Soto
      8. Pie
      09. Pitcher slot

Theriots OBP. was a concern this whole time during the spring.

Hell yeah!!!!! That was a rope bitches. nice shot DLee

Won't matter. This team can't hit. I don't care how "deep" the SP is, this teams got nothing else. Yeah they'll have some days when they score 10 runs, but plenty of 0-2 runs. The bullpen still sucks. Prepare for many games this year that look like the Diamondbacks series.

And keep in mind, over the last 100 years, how many times did the Cubs repeat as division champs?

Well, it's hard to fight that type of historical data but if we would have traded for Brian Roberts, I would have felt a lot better w/ the additions of Roberts and Fukudome, but of course we didnt.

Cubs organization = big fans of status quo

Does Soto not know how to take a pitch like that Opp. field??

Nah... If I did I would definitely have EI instead of this MLB.TV garbage... I mean come on how is a Milwaukee/Chicago game blacked out in Dallas,TX.

Well, this just in...the Cubs still suck.

I got some real good tickets selling on ebay right now for Sundays game if anyone's interested.

I really have a hard time believing why so many analysts got behind this team.

Jistic, remember when we got G. Bell in like 87 or 88 and everyone thought we were going to be so awesome, and we stunk up the joint and Bell was a huge bust. I'm not ready to concede the season just quite yet, but the first 2 games have been a little disheartning.

Meh, cheeseheads won't be much better. But for the Brewers .500 is like winning the world series, so I understand.

THat was 91. After the playoffs two years earlier we got Bell, Danny Jackson, and that closer Dave Smith. That team was picked by EVERYONE. And man did it suck.

                          I'm used to it!

                            Re: 2008 Chicago Cubs

Lou has to pull the plug on Soriano immediately...goddammit i did not want him to sign with us last year...Through 2 games and Lee has yet to be up with a runner on...that is ********...

I don't expect any changes to be made too quickly, however, as Soriano's stupid ****ing ego is of more concern to Lou/Hendry than anything else...they need to move his *** down to 5-6...he is all power, nothing else...that is more or less the definition of a 5-6 guy. he is the biggest paper tiger in the majors.

Fuku, Lee, ARam, Soriano...this seems to be the best that we can do, but I hate the idea of ARam and Soriano next to each other. It is like a black hole where patience/selection goes to die...
Fuku,ARam,Lee,Soriano...at least it breaks up the less intelligent hitters.

And fwiw, the strike zone was pretty variable all day today...at least according to espn's game cast...who knows how much to take from that...

oh yeah...I guess when the Brewers finally contend for the division the fans get their heads blown up.
                            Australian Rules Football...just sayin'

Well, our defense sucked today, we hit for crap and the only one who came to play was DLee. Our pitching was atrocious and............well, we just got outplayed in every aspect. I know it's early, but you never want to see your team play like this today. We have only scored 5 runs in 2 games and all 5 runs came off the long ball( never a good sign ).

.........but, Pie did get a hit opp. field today---but looked like a tool in his last at bat

No, not really, the Brewers have been to the WS in the last 25 years. j/k.

Anyway, I loved how the Cubs tried to steal against Kendall. Kendall wanted to improve his defense over the winter.

He had a nice two run double as well.

Yes, Miller Park is great. Not a bad seat in the house.
