I know not to get ahead of myself with this team (especially this team), but after a start like this you have to take a moment and enjoy it because it could all change in an instant.

Its pretty rare to be a Cubs fan and to be happy with your team, and I'm a happy man...WOOT!

      LMAO.

You ain't kidding. I'm trying like hell, but this is nuts. I still would like another starting pitcher by the deadline.

Oh man, Wrigley is going to be a f'n madhouse this summer.

Its a pretty good feeling actually thinking your team is going to win everyday isn't it. I kind of feel like a Yankee fan right now... kind of.

          Soriano for a starter.

1 man doesn't make a season, but he hasn't been on a winner since NY.

Won't happen...but I would be okay with paying him for 4 years or whatever if he was on another team.

Well I am loving the way things are going and you have to have to be walking with your chin a little high now days with this kind of play. 100 years is enough maybe fate is shining down on us this year

              RAMIREZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YYYYYYYYYEEEEAAAARRRRHHHHH!!!!!!!

Man, Lee is the man, 4 hits tonight, gets on base as the tying run, though Pie was put in to run the bases...somehow, i think lee could have made it home just as easily as Pie on ARam's homerun...

              WOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

bottom third of the lineup for Colorado in the bottom of the ninth...this would be a great comeback...let's go woody.....EDIT: ^&*(%$^$!!.

Dude, if Aram can establish himself as he has for the past week, good times will be ahead...our lineup is frightful right now, Lee, ARam, Fukudome are so dangerous, and either DeRosa or Soto are going to contribute from the lower third. our 6-7-8 is nice...

                  yep...took an extra frame...

ARam and Theriot really came through...1-9 the Cubs can get a hit. that is nice.

                      Good win tonight boys!!!

I'm hoping it's just a matter of time before Wuertz goes. Then we will have FINALLY gotten rid of the two-headed crapmonster(Wuertz and Ohman).

15-6 ( .714 wpcntg ) equals the best record in baseball, tied only with the DBacks..........

Once again, this is the type of game we have lost in the past, we just keep breaking out of the mold and doing things that I have not seen the likes of in a long, long time. If someone faulters, another guy steps in and picks him up.

It's nice to watch a team!!!!!!!

                        .289 bat avg ( 3rd best )
                        .486 slugging ( 3rd best )
                        .373 obp ( 2nd best )

                        3.89 era ( 10th best )

Pitching is good, and getting better, batting is phenomonal right now. these numbers do not lie

I couldn't believe when Aram hit that homer. I thought after we blew it in the 7th that we were done. Then Woody blows it, I figured for sure we're done. Wow, what a win.

Same here. I was watching the game at a friend's house and we went crazy when Ramirez hit that 2 run shot to take a 6-5 lead. Of course Wood gets the first two guys out and on his way to blowing the save proceeds to gives up a single to Podsednik followed by a triple by Spilborghs. We had all seen it many times before and knew for sure that the Cubs would blow it. But thankfully Theriot came through and Marmol closed it down by taking care of the meat of the Rockies order. Marmol is the only guy I really have faith in. I'm still not sold on Wood being the closer but we'll see. I'll take 15-6 in April anyday.

nearly the entire league is playing 500 ball of late, except for us and Boston...Arizona has lost 4 of their last ten...it is still early, but maybe the Cards are coming back down to earth. Houston visits StL this weekend, hopefully they can beat up on each other pretty good.

I hope all of this translates into good wins against division foes...i want to own the Brewers, Cards, and Astros. I would love to leave a foot mark on their butts before the break.

Oh trust me I know it's early and I'm not going to speculate on the future because then I'll get upset. I always expect the worst with the Cubs...lol. So I'm just simply going to enjoy this great start by the Cubs. Here's to a good start by Marquis today.
