Big props to Stubbs for getting one step closer to breaking out of his slump, and Heisey for hitting in every situation he is put in. That homerun by stubbs was crushed to get out to dead center.

No kidding. I hope Phillips is not seriously injured being took out when he was. I was concerned a couple appearances ago about Chapmen becuase his FB did not have his usual velocity on it.

No kidding! Atleast we took 2 of 3 before returning home. I just hope Phillips and Chapmen are OK.

Especially the way Phillips has started off this early season.

                  Re: 2011 Cincinnati Reds

Hopefully tomorrow we can get this 7 game home stand started with a win. I'm hoping we can atleast go 6-1 during the home stand before we head to St. Louis, then we move on to play the Brewers. Those 2 series will be tough so we need a good home stand heading out to play those 2 so we don't lose first place in the division. I want to be in first all year and go wire to wire just like 1990 and end it with a WS championship.

Only thing I can think of is what he said in the Pacers team thread. If you're going to curse, I think you're just supposed to let the filter handle it? I dunno. Sucks to lose a fellow Redleg fan.

It does. They looked pretty bad today. At least they didn't get shut out. If Milwaukee wins its a tie for first...

Morton pitched terrible against the Reds last season. He pitched a great game Friday though.

We cant drop 2 to the Pirates and expect to stay in first. We are better than this.

We can so long as all of our competition drops one the same day.
