That was a loss that shouldn't have happened, so many little things that added up. Volquez doesnt even look concerned when he is out in the first inning. Start a reliever for an inning, then bring him in ... J/k but this is out of hand.

Re: 2011 Cincinnati Reds
Yeah, although the games count the same in the standings, August/September is when you can really make your move. I'd love for the Reds to build up a nice cushion in the division, but if it's neck and neck all year, so be it. Just gotta win the big ones.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: 2011 Cincinnati Reds
Honestly, this might be a season where you can play kind of crappy in this division and still win it. I can see the Reds, or someone else, being not too many games over .500 and it being enough.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers
NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
NHL: Calgary Flames

Re: 2011 Cincinnati Reds
Glad to see the Reds finally get a win today. Leake pitch well considering his personal problems going on right now. Hope this gets them on track and they can take at least 2 of 3 form the Cards and Brewers. I'm actually making the trip to see them play the Brewers Wednesday so I hope they win that game.Comment

Rough game. Good that volquez was mostly great, unfortunate that they gave molina such a hittable pitch with punto on deck. Rediculous end to the game, ump was giving strikes a foot out of the zone, clearly wanted to get out of the rain.
Better take 2/3 from Milwaukee.
