How long is this 3-catcher carousel gonna last? Carrying three is just silly, especially when 2 can't hit, and none provide defensive cover elsewhere.

I'm sure they're trying to move Castillo, but I agree. It's wasting a valuable bench spot.

So I live close to Chicago and am kind of taking a liking to the cubs as well I have been a redsox fan for about 12 years. Cubs look like they have a ton of up coming talent but wholly cheeseballs they are frustrating to watch... so many nonsensical errors that cost them games...

This weekend was a whirlwind. Was at all 3 games. Was an absolute blast.

To play as bad as we have played as a team these first 5 games and to be 3-2, I consider that a huge win. Good to see the bats get going the last 2 games of the series.

Eh, just for fun, plus I'm bored: When does Bryant get called up?

                  A) April 17th vs. San Diego (The day he's "eligible".)

                  B) April 20th at Pittsburgh (Theo likes to start 1st game rooks on the road.)

                  C) April 24th at Cincinnati (Not as obvious , I guess?)

                  D) Other (Please specify)

Curious as to what you guys think.

                  My guess is B.

Can any Chicagoland folks tell me why WGN radio isn't carrying Cubs games this year? It shows up as WBBN on Gameday Audio. Doesn't affect me at all, I just found it a little odd.

Where were your seats? My wife and I were at the game Saturday with a decent sized group. We had 2nd deck seats in RF. Great view of the action.

Cant remember exactly if it was, WGN wanted out or WBBM wanted it more.

Was in section 147, Row 5 Seat 3 all 3 games (My aunt works for the Rockies so I get free tickets in the employee section). Great seats down the 3rd base line. Let Szczur have it after dropping that can of corn in Game 1 on Friday.

Soler proving he needs middle of the order responsibilities, #4 please...Coghlan picking up where he left off last year; could stand some time a the top of the order, or #2.

Can't wait to see what they can do if Fowler gets going...as hopefully Rizzo is finally dialed in after a slow spring.

The pen looks fantastic thus far.

Still giving Lester a pass since the Reds have been hot to start the season, but a pitcher of his caliber should deliver better against a lineup that hasn't seen him before.

I like Soler in the 2 hole. One guy that definitely needs more at bats on the team given his plate discipline. Soler/Rizzo/Bryant at 2-3-4 is a gauntlet once Bryant comes up.
