Hopefully Bronson bounces back tonight after getting rocked earlier in the week.

Also, IIRC Chapman has stuck-out 25 of the last 31 hitters he has faced.

Today was a great day to be a Reds fan. Barry Larkin inducted into the Hall of Fame and the Reds sweep the Brewers. We've swept the last 2 NL Central teams we've faced.

Also the GABP Homerun streak was snapped at 75 games.

It is huge to see. All of the guys that have been awful lately have seemed to be hitting the ball a lot better.

Couldn't agree more, and the streak was snapped, but I'll take it since they got the W.

Ironically, outside of Cueto, Bailey has probably been the most consistent starting pitcher this year. I believe he either leads the team or is close in most quality starts.

Phillips is killing it right now, hopefully he can keep it up. Heisey and Frazier have been very good if Dusty would just continue to play them and not make them sit when they are hot. So far, so good.

Which is why them winning is bittersweet to me, since this means Dusty is getting a contract extension. I have no idea why (pre Votto injury) Frazier wasn't playing every day at third. Same with Heisey, he can play everywhere in the outfield.

This winning is nothing but sweet to me. I know I'm in the minority but I hope Dusty gets a extension.

The Reds are 6-2 without Votto, are we better without him?

Dusty is frustrating as hell, but there is worse. Better as well. But I wouldn't mind keeping a sense of continuity with an extension.

Amen! I'm no a Dusty fan but winning is winning and I lived through the early 2000s so this season kicks a$$

A Reds insider said a straight-up Ondrusek-for-Victorino deal was nixed by the Reds.

What do you guys think about that potential trade? Make it? No way?

                        I think I make that deal...or not...maybe...who knows

I personally really like Ondrusek so I would have trouble making it. At this point I have to say that messing with a bull pen that is so hot would be a mistake. Hard to say though because Victorino could probably help the bats. But again its just adding another outfielder when we already have Hiesey struggling to get on the field.

I don't know about anyone else but i would be happy to get rid of Stubbs.

Yeah, I edited it right when you posted this for that very reason. And yes, Stubbs could be released for all I care. Wouldn't get much for him anyway unless a team is in dire need of a very good defender that can't hit, can't walk and will strike out 200 times a year.
