I went to the game this afternoon, good rear-end kicking by the Metropolitans. I can't believe Peavy had such a bad outing, after Castro's homer it was straight down hill.

Oh, I'm hoping the pitching holds up. It has been really good lately even while the offense has been struggling. The offense has had a nice past four games, and that's a help.

All the Mets need is a big bat..

Believe it. Peavy's outing was just a sumation of the Padres last two months.

First things first: we need to take 4 out of the next 6 atleast. The Dodgers and Rockies are not worldbeaters. Of course, I said the same thing about Pittsburgh and we know how that worked out!

If you can pitch at USC, chances are you'll be an OK big leaguer:

Unfortunately, this is when the Mets usually lay an egg. These are series we HAVE to win. If we even what to think about playoff, then the Mets have to beat teams they are supposed to.

Pittsburgh was just a nightmare. Hopefully that woke some of the guys up.

Zambrano, Pedro, and Avery this weekend, right? Or is there a Benson in there?

3.5 out! Let's keep the MO going. I think our offense will like Coors very much given our proclivity for the long ball.

I'm excited to see Jeff Francis pitch though. He's got good stuff and has been pretty good at home by Coors Field standards.

Some fool on the Newsweek message board said the Mets should trade Wright now when his value is high. The fool is probably a Yankee fan.

Is Pujols available? He may be the only guy in the league Wright should be traded for. Thinking about trading Wright is very foolish.

Tough loss last night, the Mets needed that win against a bad Rockies team. Hopefully the Mets aren't back into their 'play to the level of the competition' role.

Is Jeff Francis available? He definitely has to be a Met. Now.

EDIT: Nice little statement by Cameron tonight. Maybe Cameron for Francis would be a good idea, and stick Victor Diaz back in right field.

Cameron HAS to be traded. Maybe to the O's for Julio.

Pedro's going to be passing the torch to Ezequiel Astacio someday. Astacio's just plain NASTY, when he can get it in the strike zone.
