Terrence Jones is apparently going to sign today. I was afraid he would do the Aid Agreement thing. Signs are he's going to stay with his Washington commitment. He was on the UW campus yesterday.

All I know is that UK fans and UW fans alike are dying to have his kid and I can only hope he makes a final decision that he is happy with. Its his future so he needs to be good with his decision. I wish him luck wherever he goes.#WeAreUKComment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Will be interesting to see how it plays out. There are rumors he was on campus yesterday, some say he was there to tell them in person he is going to UK. His parents said he was not on campus and that he was in Oregon. Plus I don't think he can meet face to face with a coach right now. So who knows.

According to Evan Daniels (Scout), Terrence Jones is headed to Kentucky. I love the kids game and I'll follow him, but I'm just disappointed in the way the whole situation went down. If he knew he was shaky about Washington, why verbally commit during a press conference? Anyways, congrats Kentucky fans, your class is amazing. Now Playing: FIFA 15, NBA2K15Comment

Wow. I'm not even going to comment right now. Give me about a month to cool off and maybe I'll say something. I'm too angry at everyone involved right now.Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Signing early will guarantee you a scholarship so I can see why that happens regardless of when you will actually be on campus. But they should only sign the scholarship papers or financial aid papers instead of an LOI.#WeAreUKComment

Terrance Jones interview with Oregonian.
Terrence Jones spoke out extensively for the first time since committing to Washington at a news conference and then signing financial aid papers with Kentucky last night and has plenty of interesting things to say.
In an interview with The Oregonian, he says, no, he doesn't regret that he picked a Huskies cap and that he only did so "just because it was there."
"I feel players decommit all the time. Everybody knew me not signing anything knew I had options," Jones said.
Why pick Washington in the first place?
"A little bit of just not knowing, being close to home. You can't go wrong being that close. It was a spur of the moment thing, not really thinking about it. Picking something just because it was there," Jones said.
Jones described the recruiting process as "fun," and said he did not feel embarrassed about how it played out during the final weeks.
"I didn't let anybody rush me. I did it my way," Jones said. "I didn't care what anybody had to say and how I was doing it my way. Honestly, I only cared about the two coaches I was dealing with, and my family."Last edited by WazzuRC; 05-20-2010, 06:19 PM.Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Gotta love a kid that makes such an important decision, such as which college to attend, a spur of the moment thing. Obviously, he doesn't take college very seriously.
Sounds like a good fit for the NBDL team Calipari is running at UK."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."
