Can 2K hire the person who created this thread, running with the '93-'94 Jordanless Bulls would be such a challenge

There is also uncertainty as to whether being featured as an assistant coach also means one can be included as a player (ex: Rasheed Wallace).

Further, I have attempted to provide photo examples of the jerseys required for the teams who otherwise do not have their duds already accounted for in 2K (as of 2K14). Please notify me of instances where teams' uniforms are not already accounted for, or cases where I have mistaken them for not already being included.

Edit: Court art reference for each team whose court art is not currently included in 2K can be found at post #79 on page 8.

      1988 Bulls
      Michael Jordan
      Scottie Pippen
      Horace Grant
      Charles Oakley
      Dave Corzine
      John Paxson
Wow, Brad Sellers, Sam Vincent and Artis Gilmore (2k12 Showcase) are not in the game anymore?

Appreciate the help. I was trying to make those two from memory and was uncertain about Sellers and Vincent. I flat out could not recall whether Gilmore was in the showcase (ditto Dantley).

That said, Darryl Dawkins never really had a place with the Pistons. I mean, he could be slapped onto the roster but really, he played all of two games in '88 and was released midway through the '89 season. I suppose I'll add him for the sake of technicality though, for every player helps.

Try to run with the '88 Bulls and you will have a challenge on your hands. Air Jordan really lift off, but his supporting cast was just beginning. Rookies in Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant, an enforcer in Charles Oakley and their big man was Dave Corzine. By the way Brad Sellers was your starting small forward. And outside of John Paxson and Sam Vincent their bench wasn't really deep yet. Jordan was the only All star on this team.

That might be right, because the '88 Bulls didn't have the triangle yet and players like Pippen, Grant, Armstrong hadn't developed until 93-94 season

Well, Pip and Grant developed well before the 93-94 season. If they hadn't, the Bulls wouldn't have won 3 titles by then.

And Armstrong wasn't even on the Bulls in 1988. He wasn't drafted until two years later.

^Exactly. Plus the '88 Bulls had to deal with the bad boys of Detroit throughout that season.Bullies on the block. The Pistons were some baaaaaaaad boys (Stephen A.Smith voice).

I hope they get Kareem back. You just can't play the old Bucks and Lakers teams without the guy.

Playing a season with the 89 Bulls right now (PC) - damn it's tough to get buckets with anyone other than MJ. Pip hasn't got much range, Grant is green around the gills on the low blocks and Pax and Hodges are a little iffy at best from deep.

He is modded in like in no time. I don't even know he wasn't in the Peasantversion of 2K14.

There's some gamers out there who can create a heckuva '71 Kareem. With his signature animations still present in 2K, it can be tough to tell it's not him during games.

On the other hand, without the ability to add goggles to created players, it's very tough to make a legitimate Lakers Kareem.

Looking at the early videos of the team select screen, it's evident that they didn't add any new legend teams. The same batch of legend teams the past 4 years now is getting very stale, and I probably won't be using them a whole heck of a lot.

Just move over to PC guys - if you love the legends teams as much as I do, It'd be in your best interests. I know I keep plugging it, but it was the best decision I ever made. The console versions don't seem to be pursuing the legends anymore and are clearly now an afterthought. Hell, just look at my post in the other thread 'What If' and the state of the Bulls jerseys - MJ is arguably the greatest player of all time and they can't even get HIS uniform right.........clearly the legends have been pushed to bottom of the 2k totem pole.

That is a tough get for me. I think many folks do not have systems in place that could sufficiently run NBA 2K, nor enjoy it in luxury (lack of legit gaming monitor or living room setup).
