Yes, I'm working with my shots engineer on CPU 3PT attempts. We're getting close to NBA averages but are still tweaking

That is good to hear. Do you have a estimated time for the big patch?

All the talk and me ranting about cannimation and not being able to control the player in the game seems to be solved. So far i have played over 150 online ranked games and won more than 100 and I can tell you that the CPU offensive rebound is overpowered. Many times I was clearly in front of the man and boxed out and yet the defender for whatever reason was able to manuever his way to get the rebound. This is CPU vs HUMAN!! And this dude is no Dwight Howard.

2nd question: Is it true that you have to hold longer online to make shot?? Many times i hold the button pretty long and yet shot indicator says, "slightly early"? Just saying...but i have no problem with it.

3rd question: After a shot is made, why do you have the CPU inbound the ball at the center spot in front of the basket every time? In real life, player inbound it anywhere closest to where they're at in that particular spot. The reason i say this is because sometimes i lose ball ended up on the right side of the court, the CPU pick up the ball and had to jog to the middle ....but he could have just stay right there and inbound the ball instead of jogging to the middle under the basket.

4th question: Does charging ever work in this game? So far, all the charges i seen seems to be CPU generated. In other words, if i commit myself manually to take a charge (although i rarely try), will it work if someone try to dunk over me?

We were looking into offensive rebounds today and found a few issues that we hope to address in a patch.

The timing online is dependant on the quality of your connection. It should be identical to offline in ideal conditions. But if your connection is poor it might feel a little delayed.

The inbounding thing is a bit annoying. I swear we addressed this several years ago. It'll get added to the to do list, but I'm not sure when it will be addressed.

You should be able to draw charges on dunk attempts. I've seen several throughout development.

As to how they work, that's a loaded question that would take way too long to answer. For Get Shooters Open you have to be patient. If you rush your offense you might not be giving your teammates enough time to run your shooters off screens. For the Play Through POE, you should see more play calls for the player you choose. Also if you run your offense through him properly you'll get bonuses to your attributes... many of the POEs work that way.

Oh thinks while I wish I knew more about the POE. I do have my POE settings to manual but it still alrease happens it happened to me last year to. Some times I can have play though kobe and all of a sudden a minute later instead of kobe it goes to play though Nick Young.

I think I have seen the CPU draw like 3 charges in like 10 games and I have yet to get one. It fells like it is hard to even get in a postion for a charge or a blocking foul. Most fouls are shooting fouls where guys get hit on the hand or get hit in the shoulders or the chest when in the air going for a layup or dunk.

I know I used to hear form develupers that a patch may be 2-3 weeks away or some sort of time frame but I guss they don't do that with video games any more.

Better recognition of mismatches would be crucial.

There is no double team coming by the cpu, when i'm posting up Chis Paul with Carlos Boozer after a switch.

I would also like the guards to be more aggressive when they have a mismatch against a big men on the perimeter. The cpu team should immediately isolate and force the defending team to double or leacing the big men in the one-on-one.

Why is there shot fatigue in the second half in my career, it happens every time. I take a break from shooting and go back to it and shot fatigue is there, why is that?

Sorry if this has been answered, I skimmed but didn't see anything.

Mike, is there logic behind the delay and sometimes complete non response from the Y button when attempting to contest a shot on defense? I don't know if it's supposed to simulate reacting too late, or if it's a bug but it can be frustrating when you move your player into position defensively and they don't react.

                            Thanks for taking our questions...

I'm curious, how many people are playing with wireless controllers and have you tried playing wired? The only significant lag I've seen throughout development was related to my ps4 controller's bluetooth connection.

This is very important for CPU AI. The CPU will recognize a miss match when they are posting my guards with a big, so this should be the same processing.
