Personally I consider things like flashy passing , hop steps , step backs (with the RS) , put back dunks , size ups , step throughs, floaters , hesitations , fake pass , rolling inbounds , bounce pass , RS passing , triple threats , handoffs , bank shots , all advanced moves. I know I missed a lot

Is there a consistent way to quick inbound where the inbounder has 1 foot out of bounds and just lifts the other off the ground?

I seem to do it on occasion, by happenstance, but can never duplicate it on command.

I need help for my Suns MyLeague, the temp is just too slow, like there is always 6-7 seconds left in the shot clock by the time the play is done and a shot is put up. Is there any better offensive playbook in the game for fast break offense/shooting?

You can do this consistently by hitting 'A' (XBOX1) as soon as the inbounder starts to cross the out of bounds line under the basket, while exiting the court to take the ball out.

So when your player has the ball, as soon as you see his body start to cross the out of bounds line, press the pass button. I use it alot when I'm trying to force tempo in games, after made baskets.

I know it's a little vague of a request for help without video, but too often, whenever I'm running plays, guys either get jammed up into defenders/teammates, picks are executed awfully, or when I initiate the play, there is like a 2-3 second delay to when my team reacts and starts running the play.

All of this leads to completely broken down plays, where it's up to me to make something of it. By that time, since the majority of plays take a significant amount of time to execute combined with the time it takes to get into the half court and in position to run the play, I'm killing almost the entire shot clock. And since it's impossible to beat the cpu man off the dribble in this game, I'm forced to take these god awful shots to avoid the shot clock violation.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to speeding up the offense, or to get it run more smoothly. Whether by running different plays, or running a different type of offense all together.
Go to poe select shoot at will & it will show up faster on plays

I REALLY need help with defense, lets say the guy beats you and he is driving to the paint the other defenders like the C/PF don't rotate fast enough to stop the easy layup/dunk, is their a way to fix this? I even tried using Protect the Paint just doesn't work.

a variety of moves there. try these basic ones to explore the different animations.

hold LT at all times, then
                  - hold LS towards the key and tab X (u'll get hop step, and from there press X to lay it in or fake it). use this if u are far away from the hoop.
                  - same but hold LS away from basket (u'll get step back, from there press X to shoot for quick release). money if u are doing that on bosh.
                  - same but hold LS towards the baseline (u'll get drop-step). money if u are doing that on d. howard.

the other way i find it useful too is hold LT and hold RS towards key or baseline then flick RS again to lay it in. u'll get an animation where yor post player will lean towards the defender and spin. do that when inside the paint.

sam pham had a video on high post spin. while in post dribbling, hold LS towards baseline and release LT. optional to press RT. u'll get an animation of yor post player spinning away from defender but go towards the baseline. flick RS to lay it in.

the last one i saw yesterday in youtube - while in post dribbling, press RT, release LT and quickly rotate RS to spin towards the baseline. u can dunk this with d. howard. i tried this with r. westbrooks and he layed it in most of the time. i'll consider this as advance move.

i hope u are not asking for post fadeaway as this is the easiest move in the game ... Lol

while in post dribbling, do some shoulder fake to confuse the defender which direction u going.

i'm still trying to figure out the power one dribble move to the basket. not sure if this can be done in 2k16.

try this. set soft hedge in defensive settings. depending yor opponent, select wisely for go over or go under. eg. if its rondo, use "go under". then, choose yor player who is guarding the worst shooter on that team. manual control him to help in the paint and let cpu defense work on that pick and roll. u'll need to read and time yor help defense.

check latest sam pham youtube. i got the tips from there ....

i struggled against the cpu cavs bcos they dont have a bad shooter on the starting five. i hope u are not playing the cavs.

Thanks! Sounds much better than spamming X/A.

Tap X while holding LT (and RS towards the lane) to do a power dribble/drop step.

How to do dream shake? I can't get it done smoothly. I get a pump fake and as soon as I do pump fake I move it in another direction to shoot the ball but he always shoots a fader or resets in normal stance a does a normal layup. I want smooth up-and-under move that was deemed as cheese few years ago.
