Re: NBA 2K16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
How to run a freelance is a big question, if that includes how to get a specific offense started and how to make it work, how to use personnel in it effectively, etc. If you just mean how to select one to use on XB1, that's another question.
Have you checked out some of the threads here on freelance? Maybe look at this one and see if your questions are answered.Comment

Selecting a player for PnR is the same as last year, though there are new controls this year to set up which side you want the screen to be on and how to change from roll to fade.

How in the world do you launch out of sizeups?
Is there a specific point where you have to launch out because everytime I try I end up with some stuttering animation.Comment

I can't do it consistently either. I have noticed that the around-the-back dribble out of a sizeup creates the most amount of space, by far."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Tough to do, and I'm not at all much of a sticks guy. But in my testing, your best chance is to try to time the launch with a quick turbo tap and left stick push just a split second before the ball hits the ball handler's hand during a size up.
Again, it's not consistent enough for me to try to do it as a go to move, but for a better stick skills guys who can practice it with success, maybe. Of course, it may depend on the player and the size up animation. Those animations and launches may not be consistent as they reworked size ups this year.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
Anyone figure out how player lock actually works in MyLeague? When I started playing on it, I'm not sure how I did it but I was able to play as just one player and it would skip the time that he was on the bench. Now today I'm trying to do it and every time that player gets subbed out, it makes me play as the whole team. I went into position settings and put Player Lock on the player I want to control and disabled the position lock. Anyone figure out how to get it to actually work where I only play as the player I have on player lock?Comment
