You press LB, bring up the icons then hold the icon of the dude you want to bring over for the screen. This is from muscle memory so please try in scrimmage first.

Don't hold LT/L2. Feather it. Shade them into your help D. Use RS for quick cut offs.

To cancel the pre loaded pass that is made when you send a player on a cut, press RB (Xbox One) to activate icon passing. Then select a different pass recipient.

Also for those that may not know, you can select who you want to send on a cut or give a dribble handoff to by pressing the left stick in the direction of the player you want to perform the action.

You can also move towards the player when performing the dribble handoff. You don't have to wait for them to come to you.

what about when you were already dribbling the ball when you called for the pick? Or the times you arent playing with the highest rated player in the game?

for point number 2, you tap the screen thing and when the bubbles come up for each player, you hold that button down and it pulls him over for a screen.
For example, you are PG on the knicks and you want melo at the 3 to come set a screen. tap L1 (im on PS4) and then when the square pops up above melos head, hold down square.

The secret to hitting jumpers online?

The games are smooth...no lag seemingly but I wonder if hidden input lag could be the difference.

In the practice gym I have no problem but online my jumpers are terrible...I'm trying w/o the shot meter and with the shot meter...Does anyone have any tips or advice for improving my outside shot online?

            Help a baller out...Thanks

I have to get use to feathering L2. Do you have your controls on absolute when using quick cut offs?

When you are already dribbling the ball, if you want to go left when calling a pick have the ball in your right hand and vice versa. This will give you a momentum burst to the right to attack the basket. But always wait until the screen is set before making your move the computer will always bite. I like Lebron that's why im playing with the CAVS.

here is a good example on how to use the jab step and make the computer bite, the computer defender will always react to what you do. I play on superstar right now im 7-0 with the Cavs. Make a quick move and see how the defender reacts. If you have any request let me know as i'm working on a 2k youtube tutorial channel for us sim players and beginners.

Ok after countless youtube videos and tutorials and web searches and hours of practice. I still struggle with shooting in 2K16 I use Carmelo's release on Normal in mycourt I shoot well in practice I shoot well I can time the meter quite well.

I get that timing is key the thing is when in a career game my shot meter is a lot smaller. Am I missing something here in past games there was a stat for shot in traffic. my current player has all shot types at around 70 to 75. I get that I need to pick my shots to know my range.

1..How do I turn on myCareer Hot zones?

                        2. Help with shooting, I am a 73 over all SG and I struggle with creating space for my shot in career games.

I keep doing it... But I don't know how I'm doing it. But how do you shoot off the glass? I remember it being L2 and shooting back in the day. But I couldn't find anything in the manual.

Is there a tutorial mode on the practice court, which gives you on screen instructions on how to do the different ISO moves? I know 2K14 did, but this doesn't.

Heck if I even go into the Control options, it has a list of how to perform different ISO moves, but lots are missing, like how to do the Euro Step.

Is there a complete list of ISO moves for 2K16 available somewhere, or better yet, a in game practise tutorial for all this that I can't find?
