Lo and behold, I turn the threes up to 55 and leave everything else to 50 and not only are they not taking more threes, cpu offense has immediately gotten less realistic in general. Anyone have any of those tendency sliders to where CPU is shooting the right amount of 3's & also playing realistic as a whole?

Yes you'll have to download a custom legend roster from 2kshare(there are many) then import that custom roster into your MyLeague or MyGM

No more tweak with the sliders? Just Simulation? What's your difficulty?

I have a question on how to guard a specific player - Anthony Davis.

This guy has A ratings in everything inside ANDDD he has Speed/Acceleration ratings of 82/80 (his speed rating is higher than Chris Paul. Like REALLY now.)

Needless to say I am getting burned in ANY transition situation and opposing PG simply passes it down to the post to AD for an easy dunk because my defender is still at half court figuring out what defense is.

Anybody know of an effective way to counter this aside from slowing my team's offense to a half-court halt at every possession? It's almost borderline cheese. AD's mobility ratings are on par with/faster than many guards and probably the best of all bigs in the game.

You know what's funny, playing as the Mavs against AD was what prompted me to ask this question. Their 30th defense ranking is WELL deserved... Dirk Nowitzki and Zaza Pachulia as your defensive big men....... yeah just not gonna get it done. I think AD's speed is equal to the both of them combined

what POE did u use?
did u put 'moderate' on him or tight?
which team are u using?

i cant help u if u are playing on HOF. i managed to beat them awhile ago on superstar using thunder. ibaka was able to make a few stops but not 100%.

Yeah those 2 get killed inside. Their lack of speed really shines through in this game. Hasn't really done it before.

I've been playing couple of friends who discovered this cheese. we are doing HOF simulation. Ive been using Protect the paint, physical defense, crash defensive boards. TIGHT/TIGHT for on ball / off ball. no specific team... but i suppose mavs/grizz/wiz/bulls are some that i play with.

the fact that his quickness /accel is that of typical pg/sg's makes him impossible to guard / chase. it is infuriating watching your opponent win by icon passing all the way down court to an open AD. but i suppose the transition cheese is real this year in nba 2k.

yeah it doesn't make matters any better considering it seems this year's 2k cheese for scoring is by making full court passes left and right and score by taking advantage of CPU's listless efforts to get back on defense. it's baffling how fast breaks can take place off of made free throws
