It's myleague so I just edited it lol....

Now that I know Scottie Pippen can be a Coach, restarting MyLeague with Bulls, without giving up Butler, what trades can I do to draft Fox (4-8) and acquire Kris Dunn? Or would it be better to break it all down and get the first pick ( markelle fultz )?

          LA: Clarkson, Deng, 28th pick
          NYK: Melo

Is it fair value? It's the end of the season and it it basically Start Today league. LAL takes Ball and runs

MyLeague Expansion team: Trade Affalo for Pelicans Asik and 2019 unprotected pick.

What you guys think? The expansion team is...bad, and Affalo has a team option for the upcoming year so the Pelicans get someone who can contribute this year, and then free up Asik's contract for the next 3 years all in one by letting him go if need be and going after bigger and better in free agency. Will lift them from 15 to 25 mill in salary cap room for the upcoming season if they deny the team option.

This frees up cap space for a team in win now mode for the upcoming off-season, as well as someone who can actually see minutes for the current season, and gives an expansion team another 1st round pick that they will dearly need, albeit not for a couple years...Forces them to waste money on Asik, but they aren't going to exactly be a desirable place for FA for a few years.

Reason why its the 2019 pick is due to a house rule i'm trying to follow, where you can't trade back to back 1st round picks.

Expansion team: Davis Bertans. 1 mill contract.-decent four that can spread th floor from 3 and can score.

Portland trailblazers: aminu, ed Davis and 22 overall 2017 1st pick. 2018 top 10 protected 1st
Aminu had an awful year and is easily replaced by Bertans as a stretch four in limited minutes. Also gives a larger role for harklessand vonleh. Aminu 7.4 mil 2 years.. Ed Davis a throw in 6.4 mill just the upcoming year

Is it too many 1sts? Maybe swap David for Leonard to make it more worth it for the trailblazers? They just have so many awful contracts. With this trade and letting Ezeli go/declining the team optiion then traik blazers will be nearly under the cap. Swap out Leonard for dsvis and then they go 2 mill under. But the expansion team is already dealing with Asiks awful contract. Probably just going To release him and deal with the dead money.

Would give the trailblazers at least the option for a sign and trade possibly. Albeit they'd need to convince someone to either take crabbe or turners class contract....

Re: NBA 2K17 Trade Discussion Thread

                    1st trade:

Trailblazers send Leonard and Aminu a 2019 top 10 protected, and a 22nd 2017 pick to the Expansion team

Expansion team sends Bertans in response...basically just taking two loaded contracts for so-so role players and get two 1sts in return...is that too much in return? It is 17-18 mill a year and gives a team with no cap some flexibility to do the below deal:

2nd trade: Blazers send Harkless, and other two 1sts 2017 1sts (18 and 28), to the Knicks in return for Carmelo...

To be honest I'd prefer to keep Harkless, but I don't see the knicks wanting either Turner or Crabbe's contracts, plus Harkless is a damn good stretch 4/starting 3. I can see why the Knicks would love the deal...less so the Trailblazers. This would be them going all in with Vonleh basically at the PF spot and hoping Melo can get them over the hump...I personally don't like the deal, but is it realistic?

In the draft, Timberwolves trade Dieng and #8 pick for Brook Lopez...this look like a good deal to you guys?

Nets get a young guy at the #8 pick, probably a PG, as Smith, Fox and Ntilikina are all still on the board. Dieng at 27 is a decent asset, obviously worse than Lopez but they could eventually move him for a 1st in the upcoming years or a couple of 2nd rounders if need be. Dieng is an odd tweener that is good at a lot, but not great at anything.

With the timberwolves already having Rubio, Dunn and Jones I feel like they wont want to draft another PG unless they trade away Rubio. By getting Lopez they can move Karl Anthony Towns to the PF spot and they now have two twin towers that can shoot the 3 at a good rate.

Bradley > Lavine. So the first trade is just baaaaad. Wolves need to add more.

how about tossing in the 7th pick, and the bulls send the 16 pick?

You'd probably get Thompson before Green. At least with Thompson you can somewhat replicate his play with a 3 and D player. Green just brings something you can't find anywhere else...they being great D, ability to guard 3-5, has the ability to stretch the floor, and run the offense all in one...also can rebound at a good rate...

A.k.a, he's basically a defensively focused less athletic LeBron...Kinda...Anyway point being, unless the Warriors are all in their 30s/6-8 years in myleague/mygm I'd say he is untouchable. You might be able to get Thompson since his contract will be the first to come up, after the 18-19 season and assuming they win at least one or maybe two more championships you could realistically see him going for both all the money possible and a team to become the "man" for rather than going for rings as the 3rd offensive option and robin to the robin that is the batman duo of Curry and Durant.
