Sounded about right. Chose the Lakers as a third team. They were willing to trade Seth for Randle straight up. I've set Celtics to receive Randle, Thomas Robinson, and my next two first rounders for Markennen. CPU is still declining. Contemplating whether to take the L and move on or force the trade. I feel like I'm giving more than enough, a straight upgrade over a prospect plus two picks.

Re: NBA 2K17 Trade Discussion Thread

I'm the Warriors in my current franchise midway through the playoffs and looking to get rid of one of my All-Stars for a few reasons:

      1) There's not enough shots to go around and I feel like one of them are being wasted
      2) I'd like to improve my bench with picks/youth
      3) At least if I trade one of them some other franchise is going to benefit from having an All-Star fall into their lap

I (reluctantly) decided on trading Klay Thompson, even though I'm a fan of his but feel he's the one that gets the less shots.

WARRIORS TRADE: Klay Thompson, Patrick McCaw, 2017 2nd Rd Pick
WARRIORS RECEIVE: 2 1st Rd Picks (2017/18) from Celtics, Tim Hardaway, Jaylen Brown

CELTICS TRADE: 2017 1st Rd Pick & 2018 1st Rd Pick, Avery Bradley, Jaylen Brown
CELTICS RECEIVE: Klay Thompson, 2017 & 19 1st Rd Pick from Hawks, Thabo Sefolosha

HAWKS TRADE: Thabo Sefolosha, Tim Hardaway, 2017 & 19 1st Rd Picks
HAWKS RECEIVE: Avery Bradley, 2017 2nd Rd Pick from Warriors

Think Celtics would be interested as they just lost in the first round to the Pacers. They'd want to get stronger to compete next year and would still have money to go after Gordon Hayward in FA by offloading Brown & Bradley.

The Hawks narrowly missed out on the playoffs so they'd want to get a good shooter and defender in Bradley instead of another young player to develop considering the contracts to Howard & Bazemore, and if they re-sign Millsap they'll be in win-now mode.

For the Warriors, we trade Thompson and get younger, athletic players coming off the bench in Brown, Hardaway & the Celtics 1st Rd Pick. It also means we avoid extending Klay in the next couple of years when the salary will be tight b/c of Steph & KD.

        Hey guys! Need some advice!

I just got the game again ( moving boxes broke my last copy of the game ) and I just deleted all files to start again! Started my Bulls GM again and tank the first year! I traded bobby, niko and rondo for picks! Can't remember which ones. I got pick #3, 7 & 12. Ball went first, some PF went 2nd and I checked on offers for mines, The Suns offered Booker & bender for pick 3 & 12! And that's when I just started thinking about what I really wanted to do!

I know what you guys are going to say, not a fair deal lol I agree, so I counter by tossing in butler, but removed bender! He is way to weak for me to play with lol! They declined, so I start playing with names and got them to accept Booker & Ulis for Butler, Pick 3, 12 and my 2020 first round pick! ( they picked markelle fultz with the 3rd pick and Jackson with their 5th pick ) what ya think?

With the 7th pick I would have taken smith but kings got him at 6, so I took jayson tatum. I plan to bring back rose to Chicago since I am kinda used to his style of play! ( edited only his speed to 92 and 85 on all body part )

Now I was searching for a back up PG, before signing one! and not sure what happen but the wolfs are offering Dunn for close to nothing! They want my 2018 first round pick, a 2nd and I can't remember the player they wanted! Should I pull the trigger? Rose and Dunn can play next together at times!!!!

Now I just need help finding a PF To play next to WCS And a back up center, Mason was already signed so no decent centers are FA! And none got cut!

Milsap and Blake are still on the board, but with my team being young and not good D I think Milsap is the better Choice , but he wants close to $30m

I got a few picks left I can trade for a center! Who should I try to get that has decent defense?

Jason Kidd is running my team!!!! Sorry for the essay but it's myGm I don't wanna regret doing something lol

        Please help!

HEAT RECEIVE: Andrew Wiggins, Ricky Rubio, Cole Aldritch
TIMBERWOLVES RECEIVE: Goran Dragic, Josh Richardson, Willie Reed, 2018 1st Round Pick, 2020 1st Round Pick, 2020 1st Round Pick

This is the major trade I made to kick off my Heat MyLeague run. I'm looking to upgrade at the 2 and I don't think Dion Waiters is the man to carry us to the promised land. I know shifting Wiggins over to the 2 may be a bit unorthodox, but I honestly think it's a better fit for him and I need someone I can trust having the ball in their hands at the end of the game.

The Timberwolves aren't going to be keen on losing their budding star and recent ROY, so I knew they were going to have a steep asking price. However, I didn't want to dump my draft pick Isaiah Hartenstein, Winslow my defensive anchor, Whiteside or Bosh in a game where I can handwave his blood clots away. The only major piece I had left then to offer was Dragic. I still needed a point guard so I asked for Rubio in return. All this was for them was an upgrade at the 1 so I tossed in a good young combo guard in Josh Richardson and three, count 'em three 1st round draft picks. They counter-offered with them salary dumping Aldritch onto me and taking Willie Reed and I accepted.

Is this a fair trade? The T-Wolves now have a monster backcourt with Dragic, LaVine and Richardson, a solid backup big in Reed for less than a million in salary and three, count 'em three most likely non-lottery 1st round picks. I don't know if all of that is a good trade for a future superstar, though. The T-Wolves would need to acquire a star forward quickly to win now and keep KAT invested long-term. Does this put them in position to do so?

          Thanks

Update: turns out I didn't trade bobby, so I made the following trade!

                  Timberwolves get:Bobby Potis, Jerian Grant , 18, 19 first
Bulls get:Kris Dunn ( he drop 7 or 9 points in rating ) and a first!

Dunn will back up rose and SG spot, fair or did I over paid?

Interesting moves so far! Booker is definitely the kind of young project the Bulls need right now without the baggage of the post-Rose era.

You said, however, that the Suns already gave you Ulis. Why do you need an additional PG? While the Booker trade was fair, I think you definitely overpaid for this guy. Mortgaging much of your future for a young backup 1? No way.

And what did you do with my boy Wade? I'm sure you wanted to dump him as soon as he accepted that player option.

Wade was mad all year long because of all the losing and with 3 weeks to go he got hurt and retired, I was so happy man lol $23m saved, but wade wasn't the only odd one calling it quit, gasol, Tony Parker also retired which was the first time I see them leaving with years left in their deals! I made wade the assistant coach which hurt because he has a f,c and d rating lol but pop was hired to coach after I saw he was available had to fire Kidd!

Reason for wanting to try to add Dunn is because I tried being back Nate Robinson but short dude kept getting blocked lol so I know the same will happen with Tyler! Any idea on PF???

Try swapping Tyler and a 1st for Dunn and a 2nd then, if you have picks to spare. Otherwise, try swapping a mix of prospects with the T-Wolves.

Oh gee, that depends on what type of offense you're running. Are you sticking with Hoiberg's up-tempo pace and space? Sounds like it since you're going ultra-young.

Then you're going to need a 4 who can stretch the floor. The obvious best choice is Porzingis then, but while the Knicks are rumored to be willing to trade him, they're going to need a loooooooooooooot back. What valuable assets are you willing to give?

                              Thanks
So I've been thinking more about it and the more I do, the more I'm willing to cough up Winslow to make this deal happen. The Wolves are going to want to patch that hole immediately with young talent. I'll lose my defensive guru - God help me when LeBron comes to town - but if that means getting a franchise man, so be it. I could keep Dragic and plug in Tyler Johnson at the 2 so as to not repeat the ball-dominant guard mess that was Wade and Dragic, but his contract is still ***. I'd have to look more into that, but how about this trade?

Heat Receive: Andrew Wiggins, Cole Aldritch
Timberwolves Receive: Justice Winslow, Josh Richardson, Willie Reed, 2018 1st Round Pick, 2020 1st Round Pick, 2020 1st Round Pick

On first blush, I feel that's a slight overpay.

Can I have some context about where you are in the MyLeague season? Is this using Winslow and the Heat's current rosters (with Winslow injured) or did you start this at the beginning of season, injury free rosters?
                                Any comments are welcome.
